This is great for work. There is no problem with the 8gb and flash drive. It works like thunder. You do not need to buy the old MacBook Pro and then upgrade it with more memory or flash drive. This is the way to go!

Tired of PC based issues? Here's the solution. Very stable machine. Flash memory provides quick start up. Light weight. Clear and sharp display and backlighting on keyboard are very nice. Hard to go wrong with and Mac.

I was debating on this verses the new retina macbook. I've had it for about a month and am very glad I went with this because it's the perfect size and can keep up with everything I want to do. Don't hesitate to buy it.

This Mac has been very good to me and I recommend this for Adobe use, especially for film editing and photos. With its light weight and sleek design it makes transportation convenient. The Mac is also equipped with excellent speakers that sound clean and clear. You could say the speakers are studio quality. Overall this Mac has been great for school as college student I could use this beyond graduation and continue to create great works of art.

For years I was a PC only user. I thought that I could never leave a Microsoft based system, let alone afford a Mac because of the price tag. Let me tell you something - after purchasing a new HP touchscreen laptop 1 year ago and having to deal with the operating system crashing after 6 months of use, and constantly fighting with HP AND Microsoft for a month on who would fix it. I decided it was time to save up my pennies and buy something that was worth it and would last. I purchased my Macbook about a month ago now and it is the best decision I could've ever made, I'm a college student so I need something light but that works whenever I need it to. I love the fact that I can get Microsoft Office on it and yet still have all of the pictures from my iPhone and iPad sync. The newest thing I figured out was the ability to wirelessly cast my entire desktop to my AppleTV. Moral of the story- if you have several other things in your possession that are Apple based, do the smart thing and get a Macbook. If you need a PC for work related reasons go buy something cheap that you don't really care for.

The Macbook is an excellent machine, not a single issue to write about. Every Apple product I have purchased never requires any tweaks. The battery life is as promised and the retina display is crisp and very clear.

It is a fast computer that I ever used and so far I do like it! Nice display and nice power economy

Bought it for my daughter who is into writing stories and scripts, making movies and creating music. It has been well known that Apple is the product for such creative endeavors, and it has not disappointed her, even though she is still learning all that it can do. I'm happy about the solid state hardware as it seems to work better and faster, and doesn't get hot like her old windows/IBM based lap top. It's still new to her, and I don't get to use it, but the processing of data and images, is so superior over the old laptop and the screen images are superb. It is pricey, so if all you need is a word processor, than this is not the right choice. If you are into more abstract and creative uses, there is not much else out there.

This is my second MacBook Pro. It is very sweet. The visual resolution is great for viewing. It is a lot lighter than my original. I like the solid state technology. I'm very pleased overall one month into use.

Best laptop I've ever had. I'm a Mac convert and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Runs quickly, smoothly and without any problems. This laptop is a joy to use, and the retina display is awesome.

Have been a mac user for 10 years now and they have yet to disappoint. The 13" is a perfect compromise between portability and screen real estate, and the retina display blows my previous macs out of the water.

Took time to choose between the air and pro, definitely happy with my purchase. the screen is clear, memory is large, and the computer is fast. I also enjoy how the keyboard is backlit and can be adjusted.

I am a college student and I had to make sure to buy this for college. Great speed and easy to carry around so you can get everything done. Screen has great colors and the processor gives it very fast speeds.

I got this laptop because my Asus crashed after 1 1/2 years. I decided to invest in a good one that was almost certain to last for years. So far it has been worth it. It took some getting used to, but it's definitely not hard to navigate once you figure things out. Biggest pro so far is the battery life! It starts up really easily, and I'm not afraid of losing any information. I still back everything up on a drive just in case. Oh, and I had to reconfigure my external drive so I could actually save items on it from both the PC and Mac. Overall, I love this laptop.

I've had a Dell for years that constantly had problems and I thought I'd try a Mac - turns out it was a great choice! Beautiful display, great processing time and battery life. I'd definitely recommend it!

I use my Macbook almost exclusively for research and use PowerPoint (extensively), iMovie (extensively), Safari and some usage of Word. The key to me is speed and simplicity. This Macbook Pro with the Retina feature and the solid state hard drive has been terrific in the first week that I have used the machine. My last laptop was also a MacBook Pro but with 2011 technology. All files transferred smoothly (via Migration) and so far (knock on wood) no problems.

Gotta love this laptop. Very good performance and great speed and design.
