I’ve had this laptop for a few years now and still like it. I’ve never had issues with it or with the updates from Apple. The only con is that Apple doesn’t have a SuperDrive for Blu-ray, only dvd/cd.

I finally broke down and bought a Mac that I have been wanting for years. I am so happy I did and especially that i bought it through best buy. The points and the sale price were what convinced me.

I always use MacBook Pro and decide to replace my old one which I have used for 5 years. This version definitely worth buy compare to the newer version (with touch bar) in terms of price/value

You'll have a hard time finding a better laptop computer, in my opinion. I bought this one for my husband and I kept his old MacBook. Both are amazing. The only complaint that I have is that the power cord isn't very sturdy and its expensive to replace.

My son has wanted a Mac for years but I have never been able to afford it. For his high school graduation, I told him I would pay for half of the Mac and he pays the other when he started working. He got a full time job in the summer and worked real hard. We purchased it right before school started and he loves it. I have never used a Mac before and picked it up one day and played with it for a while. Not sure I would ever be able to afford my own, but I did enjoy it. Again HE LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my concerns about purchasing an open box MacBook Pro. But after my daughter opened her present and checked it out, my concerns vanished. She got the quality laptop that she wanted and I got the good deal from BestBuy, a win-win for sure!

It is convenient for college students with its fast processing power. I am able to have multiple tabs open without having to worry about my computer lagging. The look of the computer is both sophisticated and nice to look at. Overall great buy!

When I was looking for a computer I wanted something for work. I was deciding between windows 10 2-in-1 computers and a mac. I went with a mac because its supposed to be no hassle. I think a lot of good thought went into the laptop but I would never buy this if I was tight on cash or traveling with it. The chances of physical damage are too high and the repair costs are too great. I would only buy this again if I needed it for work within the mac universe. Otherwise there are great alternatives

I needed a computer that would be easy to travel with for photo editing so I decided to give this one a try. Does the job.

I'm switching from a PC and there is a lot to learn about the MAC. So far I am very happy with my purchase. I have an iPhone and iPad so it only seemed right to try this. Haven't had anything major to complain about, small adjustable things.

IVe been using it for school and the little features allows me to go back and forth from different videos and books easily.d

This is my very first macbook and I love it. I use both mac and Windows 10 ( using parallel) rather buying two separate machines. If you have budget then go for even more memory and ssd

i been hestitating the conversation of PC to mac but now that i have done it, i'm upset that i should have done it sooner

I'm a "mature" customer who wants to update her knowledge and capabilities in today's amazing world of technology. Every day I learn something new, thanks to the support options and free Mac instruction classes at my local library. I wake up early every morning, looking forward to discovering even more. Easy to set up and use. You'll love it! Just wish I'd purchased larger screen version.

Despite the fact that I have had bad luck keeping laptops due to theft or damage, this is my fourth MacBook. After a quick setup and restore I am once again able to work. I always know what to expect from Apple and am very satisfied.

Laptop is great for it price. Display is really nice and sharp. The keyboard is nice. Battery life can be better.

This MacBook is a solid laptop for most people. I'm not a gamer, but if you are, you're not reading this review anyway! This works great for music production away from home and just as great for surfing the web and writing emails.

Got this to use with school, wanted the macbook air, but for only a hundred bucks more, got this. Has been working great, and the added processing power over the macbook air is totally worth it. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

This MacBook is a great computer for those who plan on working with media files. I've had mine for a month and love it! I use it daily and have had no problems with it whatsoever.

Battery life is excellent. Boots very fast. Some challenges going from ios.from windows. All Inew ll, very happy
