I have owned Apple products:laptop.,ipad, mini ipad and I am sold on Apple. I love my new macbook pro. It is an updated version of a macbook I had 8 years ago. I will continue to purchase Apple products.

This is my first Apple computer. The MacBook Pro 13in has been so far an excellent computer to have. The computer is very fast and is able to withstand many applications open at the same time and not really slow down as a normal PC computer would. So far everything about this computer has made me happy that i bought this for me. It is also great with handling big programs like lightroom and photoshop and still not slow down. My only advice would be to buy the 256 or the 512 gb one as is the space is used very fast if you have a lot of pictures and music and applications.

This is my second Apple computer purchase, first being an iMac. I purchased the Macbook because my last Windows PC had died. I have been operating at a failure rate of about 1 windows pc every year to year and a half. Because of my experience and just being tired of replacing computers I decided to go the extra mile and get the Macbook in hopes it will last longer, however given this is still a fairly new computer I can not attest to how long it will last. What I can say is that setting up the computer was a breeze and extremely fast compared to other computers I have done. The computer itself boots up very quick and handles multiple applications operating very well compared to other operating systems I have used.

I use Windows machines at work and bought this Mac for a change of pace on personal projects. Everything about the machine is awesome - size, display, keyboard and speed. I would definitely buy again.

It is light weight, fast, and does everything i need it to do. It is my first Mac but completes my apple collection. I am now a fully capable mac book user. I would recommend this computer to anyone!

Well worth the money I paid for it. Very fast and easier than I thought to operate because all my other laptops are Windows based systems. Very much like the size, weight and mobility of this unit.

This was a huge upgrade for me from my 7-8 year old Macbook. I am very happy with my new Macbook Pro. The picture is crystal clear and it is incredibly easy to use. I'll take this over Windows anyday!

Was deciding between this and the MacBook Air. So glad I went with this. The extra half pound is barely noticeable especially since the actual laptop is smaller and the performance is so much better

Great design, much lighter than previous Mac books, retina display stunning. Great speed.

This is my first macbook and I highly reccommend!! It is very fast and the display is beautiful. The storage is unbeatable too! You cannot go wrong with a macbook because you are always protected!

I can't ever say enough good things when I purchase a new Apple product. I love the lightweight design, the retina screen, the wider keyboard, and the overall construction of a Mac is second to none.

This computer is great. I use it as an everyday computer (web browsing/iTunes/FaceTime). The retina display is beautiful! Everything loads quickly. It's everything I expected from an apple product.

My daughter uses this for her classes at college for graphic design and it has the best look for what she needs. It has not as much storage as she would like but it is plenty for the average user.

I did quite a bit of research before buying the macbook pro. I was looking for a good processing power in a small size. I looked at Lenovo, Asus, Dell, and HP to start with but nothing seemd to fit the bill. They all seemed to have good internal components but most of them felt cheap and the build quality was lacking. I am not a big Apple fan but this computer is great. The build quaility is flawless. The Mac OS was a bit of a learing curve after years of Windows use. I am using the Mac for school, picture/video and audio editing. It does everything I need and I like the fact that I can run windows on it if I need to. If your looking for a powerful computer in a compact size this is it.

I upgraded from a 2010 Macbook Pro to this faster and lighter machine. Both were important for my commute and work as consultant. I chose this over the Macbook for the computing power and ports. I also migrated my apps, docs, etc... from my old machine so was up and running within an hour with all data, wifi passwords, apps, etc... I had a a best buy gift card and rewards to bring the total cost down a bit.

Switched to this Macbook Pro from a Lenovo and I could not be happier. The computer is fast, thin, and light, while providing an amazing screen resolution. I am officially a Mac user for life!

I have owned many PC's and since have moved to all Apple products. I have an Airport Extreme Router, iPad, iPhone and now the Macbook Pro. The integration of the 4 products works extremely well. The Macbook Pro is fast and has a beautiful screen display. Moving from a PC to the Macbook Pro operating system was much easier than I thought it would be. Oh, I also purchased the Magic Mouse 2 (my wife prefers a mouse over a track pad) it works really well too. I am enjoying my Apple products and am very satisfied I settled on the Macbook Pro.

I bought this for my daughter going into college. She absolutely loves it. It is very light and thin. My only complaint is it is vey expensive. I think they could give a larger student discount.

Very satisfied with purchase. Very fast start up, excellent screen, weight is reasonable. We're an "all Mac" family but needed a smaller laptop for travel. This one "fits the bill" perfectly.

For the money, too many negatives. Little memory; battery starts charging at 99% compared to 95% with 2009 macbook pro. Restarts on its own sometimes. Pros: great battery life, amazing sound, screen is great (even though it's choppy on Facebook, or other heavy sites). Not upgradable! I'd say it's it's worth around $750, not $1500.
