This was the first time I have used a Mac and despite a bit of a learning curve, my experience has been great. It is super fast and does not have the memory issues of my old windows laptop.

This is our second MacBook Pro, and I am very happy with the computer. It is much improved from our 4 year old MacBook Pro: Lighter, faster, much better graphics. Overall, I am very pleased.

bestbuy usually gives lower price and the product is always great. the laptop is very fast and battery can keep the computer working about ten hours. This is the most amazing part of macbok！

All I can say about this laptop is WOW! I have been a PC guy basically since they came out and have had nothing but bad to say about Apple and their products....until I took a leap of faith on what a family member's experience was with their Mac. I will never go back now. I can't believe how incredibly fast this computer is and its unreal amount of battery life. I am in my doctorate program and occasionally a word will come across that I am not familiar with. The force touch track pad takes all of the extra time out of looking it up by simply pressing lightly to select the word then pressing harder, a dictionary definition and thesaurus will appear on the screen so that I don't have to search it out and waste any unneeded time. My initial fear of jumping into a Mac Book was that I love Microsoft office and I wasn't sure if it would be compatible. One quick hop over to the Office 365 website and I am rolling at 100% again with all of my favorite Office software. Although a little pricey to jump into, all other friends of mine with a Mac say that it just keeps going and going and doesn't slow down like a PC laptop will. So you can either spend the money in 1 go or keep buying new laptops every couple of years.

This is my go-to computer at home. I have an iMac (which I also love) but this little thing is so portable and fast that I find myself using it the most. Great product, highly recommended.

This is a great machine! We've made the move from windows based to an Apple laptop. We have had Apple Tvs, iPhones, iPods, iPads, and networking for the last 6 or so years. This was a logical switch, but we were nervous because we've been Windows Laptop users at work and at home since the 90s, and desktops since the 80s. It was a good decision, and one I wish we hadn't delayed.

This laptop can handle a lot of work. Not only is it powerful but the screen is gorgeous. I had never really understood the hype behind the whole Retina thing until I saw it in practice.

These computers have gotten thin--but still are able to tackle immense tasks and fast enough to support running several programs at the same time. The perfect computer for going college.

This latest version is much lighter (one of the reason I choose this over the air) and I love the retina resolution. 8G/256G is plenty for me to run some statistical software such as R.

I purchased this MacBook for college. I'm constantly lugging it around in my backpack along with my books, and i'm surprised how light the laptop is. The 13 inch MacBook is great a great mix of portability and power. After a couple months of use i have had no problems with it. The battery will last the entire day while using Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Best purchase i've made in awhile!

I love my computer. It is easy to use and it is light weight so I can easily carry it from place to place. I would highly recommend it to other people considering buying a new computer.

This Macbook was a replacement for my 2011 Macbook Pro 15" which was heavy. This Macbook is smaller but much easier on the shoulders. Performance and battery life are also much better.

I got this computer to replace my 1st Generation Air. It is incredibly fast and powerful. The screen is amazing. The new Touchpad takes some getting used to but I have no complaints.

Apple knows how to make beautiful products. Even the box was cool. Incredible easy to set up and get going, and I have hardly seen my daughter since. She absolutely loves it. Screen images are gorgeous, and it is a fast and powerful computer. She loves the thing that lets you make music tracks. One can tell I am a luddite by reading this, but my daughter is ecstatic with it. She is even doing her homework with less complaining because she can use the Imac to do it. I don't regret spending the extra money for it.

This is my first laptop from apple and so far I'm impressed with the hardware build. The retina display is excellent. As a long time Windows user, macOSx does take some getting used to especially shortcut keys (e.g. command-c vs ctrl-c in windows). The only frustrating aspect so far of using the mac is that the fonts on my email from the mac are transformed when read on a windows PC - for e.g., calibri 15 will be transformed to calibri 10.5 on windows. Signatures are completely distorted to a point where I have had to remove them completely. It is strange that Microsoft cannot bring consistency to the same application on 2 different platforms.

I LOVE my macbook pro but the OS is messing up lately. i exchanged my 128gb to 256gb cus after downloading a few apps..it already ate half of my storage so i recommend this size of SSD than the lowest one. its very fast and better than my windows laptop.

This laptop will be used for both personal and business applications. So far it has performed as expected for an Apple product. Display is outstanding and battery life is great.

I'm really a PC guy but the logic board finally died on my daughters 2008 MacBook Pro. Considered having it repaired but after some research into this model, decided to upgrade. Its leaner, faster and good to go right of the box. Time Machine transferred everything over quickly, effortlessly and without a hitch. Updates are easy peasy and I don't have to keep my fingers crossed like Window 7 or 10. If you are considering one, go with the 256 GB Flash Drive and 8 GB (expandable) Ram. The i5 Intel processor is more than enough. The lack of an internal SuperDrive was a bit of a concern but as my daughter rarely uses one, became a non issue.

I was debating between getting a Windows and MacBook for the longest time. For many years I've used Windows, and never thought about the idea of getting a MacBook. Somehow I was convinced, and I am very pleased with my purchase. Being a college student majoring in biology, I definitely feel a lot more productive with a MacBook. The battery life is amazing, graphics are great, and all of the features always come in handy. I highly recommend getting a MacBook! I'm even able to do some gaming without any problems.
