This is a great laptop. I had and older Macbook Pro so it is an upgrade for me. I have been using laptops for more than 17 years and Mac for 4. The display is gorgeous, very crisp, natural colors, great for reading, browsing, watching movies, work. The speakers are amazing; the best I have ever heard on a laptop, impressive. The keyboard is very nice, a little punchier than 2011 (or 2012) version MPB I had. It is backlit which is handy sometimes. The trackpad is improved, being one of the main new features in this generation. You can click anywhere and it feels the same. The force touch thing is cool though I am still learning how to use it efficiently and pretty much all Apple's application support it in a way or another. Of course the gestures are great and makes the whole experience of using MBP a pleasure. The battery life is outstanding, I use it the whole day without having to worry about it being plugged. The wireless network is super fast now that it is ac. Note that there is no DVD drive, no Ethernet port; but you can get external ones if needed. Because it is has an SSD drive it boots in a few seconds and everything is really fast. I use VMWare Fusion to run Linux and Windows virtual machines. The build quality is amazing, think, solid, and at the same time light. Mac OS is an excellent operating system.

I love it. Works perfectly does all need to do for my business. Could not ask for a better computer.

The hardware is fantastic but coming from windows to OS X is like going backwards like 10 years. I was so hopeful that I would love my MacBook as much as my iPad and iPhone. Wish I could return this product. I'd tell anyone to spend 1/2 the money and buy any windows machine.
