Had a 7 year old MacBook. Wanted to up grade. This unit was easy to start up and not Much mew to learn. BB was great at doing setup on my time frame

The build quality and sleekness you expect from an apple product. 1 star taken off for no ability to upgrade the ram or hard drive after purchase.

You will not regret buying this. Just go and buy it and worth every penny! This is my second MacBook and I got this to gift it to my brother!

I upgraded to the Early 2015 Macbook Pro with Retina Display (256 GB) from a Mid 2010 Macbook Pro (320 GB), and it's been a great move thus far. The display is fantastic and the laptop is very lightweight. For those of you who are worried about the smaller hard drive sizes: Unless you need to store a bunch of videos onto your laptop, I would say you should be fine with the 256 GB Model. I was able to move a bunch of old files that I wanted to keep but not on my computer onto a flash drive and delete a lot of old applications to free up a lot of space. Also, don't be worried about not having a CD/DVD Drive. I purchased the Apple USB Super Drive and it works great with the laptop. However, if you want to spend a fraction of the price, you can get any CD/DVD Drive.

I always thought a Macbook pro was the best Apple product in the market. It simply did not meet my expectations. For the price you are paying you are not getting enough out of your purchase. Videos were not crisp on YouTube and the glass screen I think should be changed for a matte one. One more caviat you cannot game on this computer and no DVD drive is included. I would suggest rather buy another laptop for that cheaper price.

Gets hot sometimes after using it for one hour. And I have to let it cool before I start using again

The charger doesn't work some time...and wifi connection is not working some time in the first month. But overall I like it ^^

I recently purchased this laptop for my son. This laptop is fast and has plenty of memory. Good computer for college student.

I was unsure about moving from a PC to a MAC but it's a lot easier than I expected. I'm getting the hang of it and I like it.

This computer is great for art students like myself and can hold lots of data and has a high resolution which is a major plus.

Overall it's good, but it stops responding sometimes when I connect it to an external monitor so I had to restart it.

I like my new MacBook but there are problems answering phone calls. Audio is not very clear. This feature could be improved

Purchased this for CS Major based on request to avoid the latest models that requires dongles for existing connections.

It runs all programs well. It allows for other operating systems to operate on the same machine. Am well pleased with it.

I had a MacBook before and it lasted me a long time. There was no doubt in my mind I was not going to get another MacBook.

I find it to be a great laptop. Great change from the buggy windows. Only drawback is relearning how to use a laptop!

This is my first Mac. I will be using this laptop to manage photos and to organize them. Can't wait to get started.

I thought Mac's did not get viruses but having mine less than 3 weeks and this happened. I was disappointed to say the least.

I chose this MacBook over others due to the flash card port and built-in HDMI output, and because I didn't want to have to buy a USB-C dock or a bunch of adapters. I have not been at all disappointed. I was a little bit concerned about the storage and whether it would be adequate. I considered upgrading the flash storage, but I'm glad I didn't opt for the additional storage option through the Apple Store, because flash cards are pretty cheap. And I got it on sale through Best Buy! This computer is fast, light, and more than capable of doing anything I need it to do. The display is beautiful, crisp and sharp. I am very pleased with the AirPlay feature and the seamless integration with Apple TV. Apple does a great job of making their products work together with minimal effort or set up. They just work! So far I'm loving this MacBook.
