I'm glad I bought this item...it was an upgrade for me.

So far I have been happy I chose to purchase the Mac book

I bought the new MacBook because my daughter made it through the last 2 years of high school on a MacBook Pro. Going into her junior year the total number of laptops bought and trashed came to 1 per year. Mac makes a solid product that stands up to harsh use of teenagers.

It's ok. I don't really like the mouse pad feature on it.

Better price for an Apple compared with Apple Store.

I am a big hater of apple products and owned a $1000 worth sony vaio (1TB /8GB RAM/ 2Ghz/ touch screen) laptop, it was all working fine for one year even though it was very slow and the problem started on from the second year because I dropped my laptop a couple of times which lead to a breakage near the charging port, so I had a very hard time in positioning the charger for my laptop to allow it to charge. After six months, all of a sudden the hard drive got crashed and I lost all my data. So, I got down into a vigorous search for a better laptop which is sturdy enough, I went through all the brands and test driven on many of my friends laptop. I got to know that none of the brands lasted good for more than 3 years, but mac seemed to be the best of all and so, I confidently bought a mac book pro with retina display after a month of research. After I started using it, I really fell in love with this product MF840LL/A. I am a web developer with constant usage of laptop and i5 processor is super fast than the i7 processor on windows. Also 256GB is more than enough and I store all my movies, songs and photos on icloud. Also I learnt all the shortcut keys for mac by watching many videos. And now I am happy that I did not waste my money on other brands which will not last more than 2 years.

This is a good computer. Build quality is great but I have two beefs. First, the processor is almost 2 years old now and the other is that this is my first Mac and I've decided I don't care for MacOS.

Less than 15 days old and barely used. Won't turn on. Apple can't find problem since comes and goes. Apple says Best Buy's responsibility and Best Buy says Apple. Caught in the middle. Piece of junk!
