First Macbook Pro. This portable is fast, light and beautiful. Was looking into getting the i7 15.4. However, due to budget constraints, I settled with an i5 13.3. No regrets. Will use this mainly for coding when traveling. At home, it's hooked up to a 4K TV. Wow!!!

Using pc's for quite a while this Mac book Pro has turned into a real challenge. I would advice anyone to stay with a pc if that's what you have used.

Finally let go of my 8 year old, Toshiba laptop. I'm absolutely happy with my choice and the graphics are amazing! I love how light weight it is and portable, as well as the performance it boasts. Very excited and confident to go through undergrad with this laptop!

Great product, but for the money i would like to see it have a larger flash drive. Also a integrated touch screen would be nice.

My husband and I purchased this as Valentine gift for me! I was so happy and satisfied, it runs fast, light to carry and easy to use. It is a bit pricey but best buy supervisor gave us the best price and matched the price we wanted! Features are great and retina is awesome!! I highly recommend this product!

Once you go Mac, you should never go back.

I got my first Mac back in 2008 - one of the first aluminum unibody Macbooks. After heavy use and beating the heck out of it for the next five years, it finally started to get a little rough around the edges. Much as I loved it, I didn't have a ton of money for a replacement, so I bought what I thought was a good deal - an ASUS with an i7 processor 16GB of RAM, and a discrete graphics card for about $750. That thing barely lasted a year. The fan failed, the RAM was messed up, the screen had dead zones, and the system would randomly turn off. Now I'm back with a Mac, and I've resolved never to buy a PC - certainly not one on the (relative) cheap again. This new MBPr feels like coming home. It just works, to begin with. My data and accounts transferred seamlessly, the battery life is excellent, the form factor is convenient and portable, the display is gorgeous, and the improvements to OS X since I've been away are excellent. Sure, Macs are expensive, but they're more than worth the premium. Plus, if anything goes wrong, Apple tech support is second-to-none.

Without any doubts, the best laptop I have ever had in all my life. I used to be pc/windows user for a long time and finally decided to try out the apple products. I must say I been missing on a lot for not switching sooner. Only downfall of this computer is the price but believe me you are getting a huge deal for the price. Think about it this way, in the time frame of 3-5 years you are gonna spend all this money and possibly more on pcs that will break down after a few month of use while the macbook pro will hold on as long as you need it. I wish I could have gone to the 512gb version bc Im running bootcamp (you can also have windows in apple, supper cool best of both worlds) but beggars cant be chooser. In the end this a excellent product with no rivals in the market as of right now. I hope other laptop companies step up their work or they wont have me as a costumer in the future.

This is my third MacBook ... I had an older model MacBook Pro, a 2012 MacBook Air, and now the 2015 MacBook Pro Retina... this is an awesome computer. Fast, light, amazingly well engineered and crafted. Far and away, my favorite laptop ever. The new trackpad is great and will get even better in the future as more apps take advantage of the haptic feedback. The retina screen is amazing, too... a world of difference compared to my MacBook Air. In short, I highly recommend this!!

    The MacBook Pro

First of all this is not a laptop, this is my travel companion. I have owned the Macbook Air, IMac, and 2015 Macbook. I still own my IMac and I won't give up my IMac till she dies. The iMac is a great desktop computer especially if you want an all in one. My fiancé primarily uses it and I use it for school. Before buying my Macbook Air, I had owned the 2013 Macbook Pro with Retina. It was my first Mac and I absolutely loved it. The only thing that I wish was that it was a little lighter which is why I bought a 2014 Macbook Air. At first the Macbook Air I thought it was the perfect machine. It was ultra portable, great for productivity, and it still had enough power for me to do my every day tasks. Then the Macbook 2015 came out and I was in love right from the start. The fact that it came in multiple colors was attractive to me, and it had a retina screen and it was no bigger than an iPad. I was finally yes a Mac that I could carry around with me like a tablet. Soon after i had bought it though I found myself thinking, why did a I pay all this money and I got only what I got. I then began to look around and found a great deal on a 2015 Macbook Pro with Retina and it was around the same price as what I had paid for the Macbook. So now, I have my Macbook Pro with Retina back but this time she is faster. After owning all three Macbook's the MacBook Pro does not feel all that different from its brothers and sister. Maybe a little heavier than its sister the Macbook but not by all that much. Plus the 2015 Macbook Pro has all the ports that one still wants and you don't have to buy any adapters. My Macbook Pro goes with me everywhere, especially since I have a Incase sleeve case to go with it. The Battery Life has been improved from its previous generation models and I can honestly get through a full work day on a single charge. So with that being said I am very happy with my purchase and can honestly say that if you are going to go Mac, then you should go Pro. In the long run its just the better investment.

I updated from a 6 year old MB Pro which is still in working order, slowing down a little but heavy, bulky case and taking it anywhere was cumbersome at best. I upgraded to the new MBP with Retina Display and wow - great visual, easy to set up and start using in a matter of minutes. This unit slides right into my bag and offers less bulk, even with a Speck case when I want to take it along for the day. I use PC at work and in the past was strictly a PC user, but one must now practically be an IT aficionado to keep them up and running virus free - I just don't have the time for that. You will pay more for an Apple product but the time, energy & worry saved by having this is well worth the cost.
