It may be overpriced. if you can afford, it is so much worth it. Too much good things have been described by other mac users. Some minor issues related to the use of PC in my experience. for instance, the connection to a bluetooth device is always a big pain. I have to delete the pairing and search it every time I use it. It always connect to the device whenever you turn on the bluetooth setting on mac and turn on you device. However, there is a learning curve for someone like me who use the mac for the first time, but it is so straightforward. Just a change in your habit in using a laptop. In addition, adding the Airport Extreme makes the internet use hassle-free. The track pad is just so nice to use, which is much better than any laptop I have ever used before. Thanks Mac.

My old Toshiba Satellite laptop was recently damaged and I needed a replacement. I researched other laptops but found the MacBook Pro's look and feel, amenities and design superior. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

I love it. Very fast to boot and lighter compare to old version. I bought this bc my mbp2009 was acting out. But after purchasing this one I formatted the old one and now the old now runs same as the new one.

Been using PC's since they were invented. I'm a Mac convert now and this Macbook Pro is powerful, rugged, well made and easy to use when adding programs or updated the OS or programs installed.

after my ASUS of 4 years died on me, I was on the search for a new laptop. I am really glad I bit the bullet and got the macbook pro. Couldn't be happier!

Purchased for my mother for Christmas. Was purchased and not only does it fly it lasts. She loves it and literally generates next to no heat. I wish the SSD was bigger for the price but cant argue with someone who never stores much. Pros: Great screen and speed. Battery lasts a long time Cons: Speakers are a bit weaker than i like but for her they are great.

Love this laptop. It turned out to exceed my expectations. I love how fast and flawless you're able to move within applications and websites.

It's my first Apple product besides iPod. The machine is great, carries out all the tasks I need really fast. The best machine I've ever had.

Let me say that I love my MacBook. It's a whole lot lighter than my 2012 model. However, it does have its flaws. I'm not fond of the placement of the MagSafe port. If you have big thighs and you use the computer in your lap, it's easy to knock the charger out of place. It's not a serious flaw, but it's enough to be annoying. Also, I feel like the SSD is a little slow. I swapped out the regular HDD in my 2012 Macbook pro for an SSD and it starts quite a bit faster than this one. But it could just be my imagination. Point blank, I don't like the Force Touch touchpad nonsense. I have yet to find anything useful about it. I love love love the screen. It's bright and very clear, although the high resolution makes things a little small. However, it's nothing that a short amount of time spent in the settings can't fix. All in all, I'm glad I upgraded Macbooks. I haven't tried playing any games on it, but I imagine it would be great as it has lots of RAM and Intel Iris graphics.

It is fantastic. Easy to set up and easy to use. The salesman at Best Bu was the best one I have come across so far.

I actually got this laptop on a steep discount (college student deal+ on sale + open box). Best Buy is the only outlet that will let you have all these discounts on top of each other. I encourage people to make use of these discounts. Granted, the unboxing of open-box products isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the unboxing of the new, but after some months of usage I feel like both of them are just the same. After carefully searching for any flaw, the only thing I found was a very light (almost unnoticable) scratch from the side of the surface. However if ur concerned about apple warranty then don't get open-box as it's hard to determine when ur warranty period ends. The laptop in of itself is awesome. The keyboard is comfortable to type, the display is my favorite part. Windows works very well too. There is little reason to get this laptop now that the new Macbook pro is in the works...but I hope once that releases, they give good discount for this laptop so ppl are willing to consider this one too.

I have always had windows computers. But I'm going back to school and needed a new laptop .I was tired of my computers lagging and decided to look at the Mac Book Pro with Retina Display. I feel in love with it .I have had it a week and I love it. It's light weight and fast. Worth the money.

I bought online and picked up on store. It is perfect to use and i recommend this type of computer.

I had an Asus that I had been using for my senior year of high school and most of my junior college career. I got the apple my least semester of junior college (and using for university) and I've been in love since. I'm a marketing major so I deal a lot with presentations and this computer really has been a dream to work with.

Great machine, went from PC to mac and wasn't too hard of a switch. I can use android and ios so I guess my learning curve isn't as bad. wish I had gotten the 15 inch with the super graphics card, but at twice the price it's hard to pull the trigger. very happy with my purchase, got it for it ~17% off retail so the cost was right at my price point for what I wanted. guess next time i'll drop 2.5k

My son is loving this for his homework and all his school stuff. He does some minor gaming too and he says that works very well too. Things were very easy for him to get going so we are both very happy with this purchase

This MacBook Pro is the best laptop I have ever used. It has surpassed all my expectations. It is amazingly easy to use and more than meets all of my needs. The display and graphics are amazing, and of course it has integrated with my iPhone seamlessly.

I bought this laptop for my wife and we can't be happier. This is my second MacBook and I just love them. The screen looks great and the computer is super fast and smooth. I definitely recommend spending the extra cash and go with a Mac.
