Excellent laptop, lightweight and fast, would definitely recommend

I was debating if i should get the Macbook Pro or Macbook Air. Keypads on Mac Air is so flat. I sometimes type hard when frustrated and realize that air is too flat for me that I might ruin the pads sooner than expected. With Pro it is very suitable, just exactly what I needed. In terms of software, I like how it is faster and the battery life is really amazing.

Purchased this laptop for college. So far, could not be happier! My prior Apple laptop was 6 years old and not performing tasks quickly. After reading the Best Buy reviews, I knew this was the perfect replacement. Please do your eyes a favor and get the retina display feature. One of my study buddies do not have the feature and there is a noticeable difference.

The processor is fast. The screen is so bright. Great battery life.

This laptop is very easy to set up. Has all the features you need. Very nice I tyre quality. Could use some sound quality updating. Reason for my **** but otherwise a great choice and super light weight.

I have been using it from last 4 weeks. Everytime I power it on I get amazed by its display and speed. Very good battery life. No more looking for that charger every few hrs.

I got this as a grad present. I'm in my 40s. I've only been able to afford Microsoft stuff so I've made do. This is a joy to use. It just works for what I need. I'm not a serious gamer. I just need to surf, write papers, and do basic stuff. For me, it's simple, intuitive, and I love it.

I am absolutely in love with my new laptop. I have had a real need for a new laptop and I really wanted to make the leap to a mac, but I was having some second thoughts about spending so much on it I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I will never purchase another PC!!

Works very smooth with numerous applications open. Had awesome battery life. Love the Keypad too. Doesn't take long to shut down or boot the machine

I really like the retina screen. It makes me feel so great when I'm reading sth. And Mac book, as you know, functions so fluently! BTW, do not update to new system before you back up! I did this kind of stupid thing and really regret ! My office always freezes after I upgraded.

The OS X operating system is very fast and the Retina display is clear and makes browsing the internet enjoyable. I'm so glad I upgraded from windows after windows 10 lagged my PC to the max. You won't regret this purchase.

I'm a PC user and the MacBook Pro is still the best platform for both Windows and Mac. When running Windows the keyboard is frustrating, and the crazy resolution does present some scaling problems for certain applications. But other than that it is the bomb. It's stable, fast and rugged. Being able to boot into OSX is just the icing on the cake.

This was my first macbook. I have been a PC guy my whole life. The pros are glaring with a macbook pro: Bootup time is instantaneous. No worries of a virus The retina display helps prevent eye sore from being in front of screen all day. Macs will automatically work with printers, scanners, other hardware without having to install drivers. The conversion to PDF is a breeze. Exporting as a pdf is a breeze. Battery life is accurate as opposed to PC. Magsafe charger is great bc it will not break as it is a magnet. The trackpad gestures to swipe to go foward and back on a webpage is remarkable and so far ahead of any pc. There are updates to the operating system that you can download just like ios which keeps you up to date. The resell value is high.
