I replaced a 2009 white macbook with this model after reading many reviews. My 2009 macbook only had gotten very slow so I decided to go with a pro model with flash storage and retina display. The screen is absolutely beautiful! I don't even stream my netflix to my tv anymore because the picture is so good on my macbook.

This is my first ever Macbook and have been pretty happy. I'm using it for school and development, the build quality on the Macbook is amazing. If you're looking for a laptop with superb battery life (10% battery loss in a 1 and a half hour period) then the Macbook will definitely not disappoint you in this department.

The Apple MacBook Pro is fast, light and powerful.

This macbook is a welcome upgrade from my mid 2010 macbook, which was getting really slow. It's very lightweight, fast, and has a great display. My only issue with it so far is the lack of CD drive. They took that out to make it slimmer. As a huge music lover and lover of CDs (I know, I'm old school ha!), I really miss the internal CD drive and find the external one I had to buy really annoying. Oh well.

This is my first time to buy a macbook and I am fully satisfied. I usually used to Window computers so I worried to macbook. But It is easy to use and has gorgeous design.

I really like my new MacBook Pro. It meets my family's needs and the kids are loving it. It seems to be just the right size for all of our uses and I am a diehard supporter of Apple products. I haven't had any issues as of yet and since it is fairly new, I can't speak to the long term battery life at this time.

So I upgraded to this laptop from the 2010 MacBook Pro 13 inch non retina display. This is a HUGE upgrade. The non retina is pretty heavy and thick. This MacBook is super sleek and light weight. It's definitely a lot of money for a laptop, but I don't think you can compete with Apple computers. They never get viruses

I always had PC's up until this point, but I was always spending money on fixing or replacing them, I finally bit the bullet and bought my very first Mac, and I will never go back! Syncs up with my phone and iPad perfectly, the screen is amazing!

Previously a PC user, I switched to Mac after my computer died on me. This computer has a good battery life, though using Wi-Fi wears it down faster. The size is great for carrying around all day and fitting in your backpack. Speed is great, took a little getting used to the different tricks with a Mac but it works great!

This is my first Mac and I'm loving the integration of this laptop with my iPhone's and iPad. Decided to go with this one over the other MacBook models because of the screen (Retina display is noticeably better) and trackpad (it has a sturdier, higher end and more elegant feel than the one on the other models).

bought this for daughter for college. very efficient, and easy to use. CHeck with your school first before purchasing Office365 - we saved $100 because the school offers it to students free. We almost bought it and the salesman didn't adivse us to check with the school first. Maybe he didn't know, but anyways.....

I love my MacBook. This is the first time I bought MacBook and it is very satisfying experience. I love everything about this MacBook, light weight, great display and performance is very good.

I'm a new PC to Mac convert. The screen on the MacBook Pro Retina is amazing and so easy on the eyes. It's probably much more computer than I needed, but I went for the upgraded version simply because of the screen. I've had high-end laptops in the past, but I really love the simplicity of the Apple products.

This is a great choice for college students who are going into computer graphics, music, computer science, and film editing! I've used this laptop for a while now and I highly recommend it to everyone! Great! (Ps. I have always used windows my whole life and this change has really change my views on mac!)

Had been a PC user for years before moving on to a MacBook. The hardware is incomparable, and force touch and mouse pad are amazing to use and feel for every day use. Retina display is also incredible to see. OS X has grown on me and I don't see myself going back to any Windows OS.

I love this MacBook Pro. Its solid, high end hardware, easy to use Mac OS, and numerous ports (2-usb, HDMI, 2 lightning). I have always had Windows laptops for work but I have been converted. The ease of use of the Mac OS and how the MacBook Pro integrates with all my Apple devices is amazing. LOVE IT!

I held out for a long time before investing in a new computer. I'm so glad that I decided to take the plunge. I'm already a MacBook user but this new model is a great improvement from my last one. It offers the benefit of lightness like an air book but all the specs of a MacBook Pro. Highly recommend!

Ran PC my whole life... Eventually switched to iPhone, iPad etc. then got iMac and still had a pc laptop... Wow just wow!!! I would get the flash hard drive as it loads incredibly quick. Keyboard types better then most I've used. Highly recommend and what great features if you use other apple devices.

After years of using a PC I decided to switch to a MAC. My family had been using a MAC for many years and never had complaints or issues. I must say I'm pleased with the switch. I like the programming, speed, and safety features of the MAC. I can do almost everything that I could on my PC and even more.

I have been using my MacBook Pro for about 1 month. I love it! I was worried switching over to Mac OS from windows, but with Office365 and OneDrive all my office files are accessible on all my iOS devices and PCs at work. If looking for a new laptop, I would highly recommend the new macbook Pro Retina
