My original purchase was too small, I exchanged it for the larger memory. The battery life will last all day in constant use without needing a charge. Using it only limited time during the day, the battery life last a full week. My only complaint is you cannot upgrade the RAM or storage, but the SSD really makes up the difference in the improvement of battery life.

I bought this computer as a replacement of my old macbook pro that unfortunately was damaged by a spilled glass of Iced Tea. I had had my old one for over 4 years without any problems so it wasn't hard to select a replacement. So far I have been very pleased with this computer.

I got my macbook about a month ago and i'm in love. It's incredibly user friendly. This was my first mac and it was super super easy to set up. I even installed the windows office with complete ease. The battery lasts really long. In the last month, i've maybe charged it 3/4 times. I even scored an awesome deal on a protective case set with the keyboard cover and screen protector from amazon for $13.99. Love my macbook and don't see myself ever using anything but a mac moving forward.

I love my MacBook Pro. After only ever having PC's, this has been a very nice change. I loaded parallels to run my mandatory Windows programs and verything works great.

I love my new MacBook Pro! Super fast, amazing display, elegant design, backlight keyboard. Does everything I need it to do and then some! Highly recommend this laptop!

I've been a pc user since the dos days and never gave mac much a thought. As I have gotten older I realize that I just want something that simply works with out crashing or needing to be restarted in a daily basis.

Apple has never disappointed me and this is no different. I upgraded from a 2012 MB Air and couldn't be happier. The weight difference from the Air is not that noticeable to me. Love the Retina display and the speed upgrades. I still have my Air however this is my go to laptop now!

Speed, ease of use, quick boot, very reliable. It a very easy transition from a laptop. It takes seconds to boot up. Have not had it seize up one time whereas laptop would stop or programs would stop regularly. Also like the fact that it's solid state - no moving parts. Love it.

Mostly use Windows for gaming and work but when I just want to do some web browsing this is fits the bill perfectly (Although it is a little pricey for what I use it for).

excellent machine, continuing to surpass expectations. Mostly used for web browsing, video streaming and photoshop editing. No hangups, very fast, and silent. Love the new trackpad with force and additional gestures.

Would have liked a larger hard drive and more memory, otherwise it is a good computer. Its overpriced for the limited amount of memory and storage.

Everything from the beautiful high resolution display to the all aluminum design just screams quality. Using a MacBook also gives this same feeling when you use it for day to day tasks, everything is just so quick and responsive it makes the entire experience really fluid!

I decided to make the switch to Mac on the recommendation of just about every friend I know who owns one. The ease of use and transition has been effortless. It's reduced my time to one-tenth of what I used to spend with my PC. I cannot believe I have waited this long.

This was to replace an HP notebook bought to be used in college by my daughter. The HP screen was not bright enough for day-light, and the battery was not lasting long. The MacBook has a brighter screen with a longer battery life and synchs with the iPhone w/o issues.

Excellent balance of power, size, battery life and a beautiful display. Only drawback is the price but I wanted something that would last. Just watch for sales.

Solid build, seems to run as fast as I need. Comes with everything needed out of the box. Price is a bit steep. But overall a good purchase.

This is my first Apple computer, having only PC's prior. Could not justify spending the additional money to move up to the Apple brand. So far I must say that everything about this laptop is quality with a capital Q! The feel and response of the keyboard is unlike any I've ever experienced and the external build is solid and beautiful. Now I know what all the fuss was about from the Apple owners who told me about their computers. I also feel that transitioning from a PC to IOS was quite easy as well. The only thing left to prove now is longevity, but after reading countless reviews, I'm not concerned.

This is my first Apple computer. I am extremely impressed with its features, performance, graphics and versatility. It is very advanced in technology and performance capabilities. It can handle anything most people will use it for. I highly recommend this MacBook.

Macs are simply more expensive. Other laptops give you the same services for much less dollars, but there are certain things macs simply do better. Multimedia, video, and presentations (keynote is AMAZING), for example, have historically been much better. Streamlining your other devices to work seamlessly is what the macs are all about. This particular macbook is good, but the "selling points" are not hugely beneficial. The retina display is nice, but you really hardly notice a difference at all between any other display. The mousepad is supposedly amazing, but I find it to be somewhat of a hassle when I am just trying to do simple movements like scrolling and all of a sudden i pressed down a little too hard. Or I'm using their swipe action to go to the previous webpage, but I have to do it 6 times before it recognizes it... when it would have been faster to simply move the mouse to the "back" button. Maybe I have been under-utilizing all their features, but shouldn't they be so easy to use that I am almost forced to use them? I am also not a fan (although all companies do it, but apple is notorious for it) of the proprietary programs that won't work with other devices and vice versa. I really like the open systems of other platforms. Apple really tries to force you into working with their products and buying from them if at all possible. Anyway, bottom line is it is a good product, good features, but don't buy it for the few extra gizmos they added. Buy it if you want seamless interfaces with your other apple devices or need their presentation platforms, etc.

I'm actually loving this product. It was my first Mac OS based laptop I have ever had and it's pretty simple to use. It's different from Windows obviously, but it's not hard to adjust to. I'm using it for school and works just fine. I am satisfied with my purchse.
