My Daughter decided she needed a new computer for college and so many articles said a windows based computer was all you need. She decided that she needed this one and you would of thought I gave her a million dollars. It does everything she needs at college. No problems what so ever. She loves the screen clarity, speed and ease of use. Oh and by the way she wanted the bigger screen and I talked her out of it because of having to carry it everywhere and she is very happy we got this size!

As a person who owns just about every Apple product, I expected nothing but the best from this laptop. I currently have a Macbook Pro that I have been using for over 5 years and it has served me well and still runs just as well as the day it came out of the box. This Macbook Pro has matched and exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Because of the flash storage, it really is a lot faster than my 2011 Macbook Pro. I haven't missed the SuperDrive yet, and the new trackpad has some cool features that have increased productivity. Whether you are new to the Apple world, or a current resident, this is a great laptop no matter what your plans to use it for are. I am a graphic artist who depends on this computer on a daily basis, and I am confident it will not let me down.

First I started with the Mac Book Air for school and it's amazing, super light and powerful. Then I thought of my photography and wanted to make my investment count. It's everything you would expect in a computer. The speed the style (retina display) and the connections with all my apple rosiest. Pictures are easily transferred on to all my devices and opening Lightroom and Photoshop is super quick. After all my years with HP or Dell, I will never go back to pc. I'm very happy with my investment.

I've always wanted to get a Mac and now that I am able to, it has been the best decision I've made tech wise. I was afraid of not knowing how to use it but it's so user friendly. I recommend this for anyone and everyone.

This is a great laptop. I was a little worried about getting use to the differences between the Mac OS and Windows which is all I had ever used. No problem at all. Switched to a MacBook and never getting anything else.

An excellent upgrade to my favorite old 2009 MacBook -- just as portable but way faster and more powerful!

This computer has been amazing! Setup on any mac take minutes and my wife with limited computer experience did it without issue. We use this for business and basic use and it's perfect for both. Battery is outstanding to the point where we only charge it over night because it lasts throughout the day. We actually leave the charger at home because it lasts so long. Also, the screen is gorgeous and the trackpad is perfect! Nothing bad about this machine, I'm extremely impressed with it.

The computer comes ready to go. My daughter who is in high school was able to pick up and download everything she needed off of her old computer. Apple customer service is amazing and will help you with anything needed.

my son said this was the best gift ever...... I ended up choosing this computer , because he is getting ready to go to college, and I had told the tech from best Buy which one would be suitable, and he recommended a MAC.

I was previously very doubtful of MacBooks because of their high price for the specifications that were offered. But after purchasing the MacBook Pro, I was very happy with the performance and quality of the product.

My daughter is going off to college and was told this was the best laptop for college. They were correct. It was easy to set up and it appears to be very durable.

Bought this because I've dealt with my fair share of awful pc's and this macbook does the job. Works perfectly for schoolwork, music production, mixing music, etc.

This is my first Apple laptop and I completely fell in love! It is so easy to use and is equipped with a ton of awesome features that make things more convenient. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

This MB Pro SS laptop boots extremely fast; much faster than my previous MB with the older style hard drive. Got a price break too at Christmas when Apple put it on sale! Only issue I had was upon transfer of some programs - Microsoft Office for Mac and an antivirus program - I had to go through an unexpected reactivation process to get them up and running again! This was not a MB Pro issue, but a Best Buy communication and set-up issue. Ended up costing me ONLY $40 to reinstall MS Office for Mac because I still had my original disc; otherwise I would have had to purchase a new version for ~$200! Again, make sure you have a clear understanding of consequences when moving programming from one computer to another. Back to the MB Pro SS: Love it!

This is my second Macbook purchase. My previous one lasted eight years with no problems. I actually still have it but decided to upgrade to the newest technology. It is very reliable and very fast. I am a huge fan of the solid state drive which boots up the laptop in less than 5 seconds. I am confident this one will last me for a very long time. I believe the price is justified because you don't have to worry about replacing the laptop every two years or so. I highly recommend it!

Although purchased a week or so before the "new" mac book came out I am very satisfied with the computer on all levels

This is my first mac, as i own multiple apple products. Love it! Extremely easy to use. The nicest feature is that is that it syncs with other apple products. i.e. iPhone and iPad. Would recommend this to anyone!

Bought this to replace my wife's nearly 9-year old MacBook. She absolutely loves it and was able to get going with minimal effort. Delivery was very expedient!

No better laptop Keyboard is great. Thought I would hate it, now I hate all others. Will never use a mouse again. No need for a touchscreen with the mac pad. Battery life 9 hours, that's from US to Spain no problema.

I'm not one of those Apple -obsessed people. I love my Android phone and Amazon Fire Stick, however, when it comes to computers, Mac is the way to go. It's more durable than a PC and less prone to becoming infected with viruses. This particular Macbook is lightweight and the size is perfect for carrying on-the-go, which is one of the reasons I chose it. There is plenty of space, and speed is on point. This is my 2nd Macbook Pro, and I can't see myself ever going back to PC.
