As per usual Apple and Retina display are bar none. I've been purchasing Apple products for 10 years now and I will continue based on their consistent output.

Turning on a Mac is the easiest computer experience after 15 yrs of windows based products. A friend bought a windows 10 based laptop and has had many problems.

I spend a lot of time in my computer, therefore, it is important for me to have a good computer, easy to use and set up. This ha been my best purchase ever.

Got this around the time the new Macs came out with the touchbar. The price was too high for something I wasn't prepared to switch to because of the USB-C ports. This model was perfect with the same ports as my 2011 mac withouth the CD drive, but that was never really utilized so it was okay without. Runs great, fast, great retina screen, clear picture, and very very light.

This is my 6th Apple Computer purchase. Only one of the 6 is no longer operating. Yes, they usually cost a little more than a PC, but you get what you pay for.

I am a college student and this laptop performs perfectly under intense graphic pressure, and I am positive that it will last me through my 4 years at school.

This is my wife's 3rd Macbook Pro. Her previous model lasted 6 years with no real performance issues, and the one before that also made it 6 years although a cooling fan in that one died so it had some issues in its last year. My point being, even if you spend more up-front for an Apple laptop compared with some other Windows-based system, it will tend to last 2-3 years longer than its Windows competitor. I have personally owned multiple Dell laptops, high-end ones, that barely made it 3 years. I have a Lenovo that has made it 5 years and is going pretty well, but that's a record for any Windows laptop I have ever had. My own 5-year old Macbook Pro with a Core i5, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD still outperforms it.

I'm a long time MacHead, but this generation of the macbook pro is a fantastic step forward. Wonderfully fast, beautiful graphics and Yosemite is just a dream.

I upgraded from old Mac to this new Mac. It starts up a lot faster and the speed is very impressive. I will highly recommend this Mac is you can afford it.

Great build quality. The keyboard is extremely responsive and the touchpad has some great shortcut features that you will enjoy. Takes a little getting used to but it's fun to use. The OS is pretty decent. It has some issues at times but what do you expect no operating system is perfect. I enjoy the Mac exclusive software and I use it primarily for photo editing and school work. The screen is vibrant and the retina display makes editing images a joyful and accurate experience. The main complaint that I have is how small the hard drive is. 256 GB isn't much to play around with. If you're not going to be saving a lot of stuff onto your computer you'll be fine. Otherwise, go for a bigger hard drive. Hope this is helpful.

I purchased this to replace a Windows laptop. A huge consideration was the graphics, memory and the Retina display. I am very happy with the MacBook Pro.

I was worried going from a PC to MC but it wasn't has hard as I thought it would be. Love my new Apple Computer

Loads up fast and have other Apple products, so it works very well! It was easy to learn how to use and still learning new tricks on it that are useful.

This is my first Apple, but my 3 daughters bought Apple computers for college & they have loved them & they have lasted a long time!! Love the retina screen!

Nice upgrade. I have a 2009 and 2011 macbook pro. Decided to add to the collection and didn't regret it. Nice screen and faster than my other macbook pro.

Buy it. Just do it. Excellent product, intuitive design and learning capabilities. You won't be disappointed.

Light weight. Good battery backup. Quick charging. Very good performance
