I love this mac! I have it for personal and school use, it's plenty storage and big enough. It runs well and I haven't had any problems with it.

Well first off, it's a MacBook and in that regard exactly what one would expect from a MacBook. It is a high quality machine that is thin and lightweight (not important factors to me, but hey that's cool). What I will point out is how fast the flash storage is. This thing just zooms through every process with ease. Wake from sleep is darn near instantaneous and opening and closing programs is quicker than I think I have ever experienced. On that note I would recommend at least the 256GB version for the shear fact of resale value. Of course I have external hard drives where I keep most of my files so I guess if you plan on doing that the 128GB version may work for you, but in my opinion kills resale value. Either way go out and buy one of these! Best Buy constantly runs sales so when you see one pick one up!

This thing is fast quiet and just doesn't crash like a PC. I almost wish I hadn't bought it because now I want to switch everything over to Mac.

I have replaced my old Sony SR laptop with this one and so far I love everything about it. It is way ahead of any other laptop in the market.

I purchased this MacBook Pro for my brother. It is identical to the my own only with half the storage and a slightly slower processor. Please note that this model is "early 2015" and will be (or should be if Apple gets it together) do for upgrade very soon. I knew this when purchasing but the sale price was incredible the day I purchased it and I was very aware that it would be a speed demon compared with my brother's 2009 MacBook. For those unfamiliar with Apple MacBooks please be away that this model comes as configured. You CANNOT upgrade the RAM at a later date as it is soldered the the system board. Nor are the flash drive or battery I imagine unless you're really handy. It is difficult to review a Mac for mac users as I don't know what tasks they will be performing. Neither I nor my brother use Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or other RAM/Processor hungry programs. I will only guess that if you are rendering video you might need 16GB of RAM rather than the 8GB this unit ships with. For all everyday computing this MacBook Pro is very adept. Add a $50. USB 3.0 External Hard drive and you will be just fine with this unit. If you need a higher data throughput purchase an External Hard drive with Apple's Thunderbolt connector (more expensive than USB).

Love this Mac book!!! My last Mac lasted 10 years, and it worked amazing and I never had problems even though it ran on an older operating system. When it came to purchasing a new laptop, I knew it had to be a Macbook. This solid state system is much faster than I could imagine. Very happy with my purchase.

The MacBook Pro has met or surpassed all my expectations. It was very easy to switch from my old windows based laptop to my new MacBook Pro.

I purchased my laptop for graduate school and it works great. The battery life is the biggest difference between this laptop and my old pc.
