I was disappointed when my Mac air died after 3 yrs. in choosing a new Mac I opted for the Mac book pro. Had one years ago and it lasted 10 yrs! Went into BBuy just to look and found out these were on sale at a great price. Love having a mac book again!

I have both the 15inch Retina Pro in 500gb and this 13inch in 256gb. They are both great for different uses, but if you're looking for a laptop good enough for school, web browsing, blogging, etc., this is perfect for you!

I am new to apple products after finally decided to part with Windows. I could not be happier. Apple and the Macbook Pro are the best computers out there. The quality of the hardware and software is top of the line. There is nothing that compares. Make the switch. You won't be disappointed.

New Macbook is faster than 2014 late version. Screen is fantastic.

A MacBook Pro comes with a lot of expectations attached to it, primarily because it is marketed as being the premier laptop out there and that it is in a class of it's own when it comes to the laptop market. It bears the weight of those expectations very well as I am hard pressed to find any real issue with this laptop. Put simply it is an excellent laptop with an excellent operating system and deserves all the praise hurled it's way.

The MacBook Pro is great for writing essays . The battery last long and everything is well organized.

I decided to try a Macbook after loving 2 iPhones and having bad experiences with 1 Android Tablet and 2 laptops. I was leary of spending more money for an Apple product, but after yelling at my last laptop (a Toshiba) in frustration for way too long, I decided to splurge. I am self-employed and need a reliable computer. It was so easy to set up, starts up very quickly, and and works well with my saved Word and Excel documents (and also my Kingsoft documents). I did have some trouble learning the differences in a MAC, but Google was my friend. Since I didn't want to pay the extra for the 500 GB one, this one only has about the storage capacity of my former computer, so I haven't transferred over all my pictures and music! But I am able to connect to my old PC to access everything stored there, plus use a flash drive, and DropBox. I don't like how it doesn't have a DVD player, but it does make it nice and light, but solid. Glad I made the investment.

This laptop is essential to college students. I use it everyday. Definitely a long lasting computer!

Superb screen quality. Quit buying the Lenovos and Toshibas finally - thanks to my son who insisted that I switch from Windows to the Mac. As they say, better late than never. Still learning the new OS but the stability and the battery life of this laptop is simply remarkable.
