New Mac

Can't go wrong

I was fortunate to catch this laptop on their 4th of July sale for I believe $200 off the MSRP. The apple rep there was very helpful and said since she does photography on the side, the resolution is great to view her photos. No viruses and easy to use. Thumbs up. (Would have got the bigger one but seems a bit over kill if she brings it to her classes)

Got what I expected

However, my wife has used one for years as a school teacher and this was for her. Installing additional programs was easy enough (Office 2016, etc.). In general you either like Macs or you don't, and if you do, this is a great laptop to own. I'm still not a true fan, but I've come to understand why people like them as much as they do.

MacBook Pro with Retina

I have an Air and he loves his Pro... although it's substantially heavier. Super fast and excellent laptop. He will have this for years to come.

I recommend to any college student who needs a good powerful, long battery lasting, aesthetic, laptop. For gamers, stay away and look into other laptops :)

Loving it!

Very nice having all my things from my phone and my iPad sync to the MacBook. It's definitely been a learning process on learning the ins and outs compared to my old hp, but not bad. Fairly easy for me to figure out. I'm glad I got it and am looking forward to finding out what else I can do with it as I get more accustom to it .
