I had a 2009 Macbook Pro before I purchased this. It was the best laptop I had. It lasted me 7 years with no problems except that it needed a new battery. I had several PC's before that and they would last me a year and sometimes two. Never had any problems with my macbook pro.

I've been using Macbooks since 2008. Definitely worth the money. The trackpad response is second to none. If you have never used a mac before, don't be scared of the transition period. It's a lot easier to learn how to use a mac than it is to learn a windows based computer. It also tends to have less issues than it's PC counterparts. I have a top of the line Windows based laptop for work and I always miss the simplicity of my Macbook. Bottom line: Get a Mac because things just work well.

Does everything I need. Fast and easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

When I say it's the best of times to shop for a Mac, I'm talking about the operating system. Yosemite. It's not perfect, but it's pretty much the best OS X since it's introduction. Once you set up Yosemite your way, it will become your best friend and typically leave you alone.

We bought this as a replacement for my daughter's MacBook. If you have water damage, even Apple care does not make sense. The MacBook Pro is super fast and easy to use.

I really love this computer. I have had many different computers since going to college, but once I got a Mac I refused to go back to anything other than an Apple. They are consistent and reliable no matter what. I will choose a Mac 10 times out of 10!

This is my first Mac and I love it! Super easy to use and understand and the best thing is that now I have a full set (iPad, iPod, iPhone) so everything is very compatible. One of the best decisions I ever made switching to Mac and I will probably never go back to Windows.

I'm still learning all of it's ins and outs but am really pleased with my laptop as well as the help I had at the store. I'm hoping to make lots of use of the picture features as well as some writing. Is there anywhere or anything I can get to learns more about this laptop?

Originally was going to purchase the macbook pro at the apple store, Best Buy offered the macbook pro at a great price (even lower than what I would have bought it at Apple for w/ a student discount). A great investment as a college student. Very happy with the product.

Simple amazing!!! It takes only seconds for a page to load, and the Retina display is amazing. The longer battery life is also a major upgrade. Very good product.

This is a great Mac I like that it has the Retina display and all the port holes you need to conect other devices to and it's lighter than the bigger screen Mac

This machine is fast and easy to use. I have been using Microsoft products up till then and thought the transition would have been more difficult but it wasn't.

Great laptop and fast for my everyday internet searches. So easy to use. Bought for my son at college and pleased with performance of the laptop and simplicity.

Really like it so far, still getting used to Apple vs. PC but I am happy with it and just hope for this price it last a really really long time

I can recommend this product. very productive efficient practical , funcional for all person especial college people. and for beginner you can play have a camera lot storage for your files etc.have detected intivirus don't let you open anything have suspicios virus or spams

Thee Geek people did a wonderful job with an ASUS product which failed. I bought their laptop from you a year ago and they had to replace the mother board. It still didn't work. Geek fixed it. My MacPro purchase was handled by Edwin and Ryan. They both were excellent

Macs are great, but the newest MacBooks have inadequate storage and no drives, forcing users to buy peripherals for already pricey machines.

This was my first Apple computer as I've always been a Windows user. I own an IPad and IPhone and now a Mac to tie it all together. I've been using it for a month now and learn new shortcuts daily. I love it.

had to exchange it from another one that did not have enough memory for me, and Best Buy was great about that. A previous Apple purchased at an Apple store got wet and my Apple Care policy did not cover that, but the Geek policy would have. Now I like that kind of policy!

If there were 10 stars I would rate it a 10 star! I had an earlier version of the MacBook Pro. This one is so much faster and lighter. It is very user friendly!
