If you've never owned a Mac, treat yourself! If you are a Mac owner and haven't updated your MacBook computer in seven years like myself, Treat Yourself! My old Mac still works great, just like when it was new . But, with all the technological advances, it can't match the speed and power of the new MacBook Pro. Editing video is so much faster and smoother. My new 15in Macbook Pro Feels the same, looks the same with the all aluminum construction. A little thinner and much lighter than my older 13 inch MacBook. I thought I was going to miss the built-in CD Rom drive but I 'm not using it as much as I used to and it does leave less to go wrong with the computer. I purchased a matching Apple external CD burner for when I need one. It's thin, all aluminum construction like the Mac and seems to be of the same quality. The new MacBook Pro has a solid-state hard drive and with the new processor, makes this new MacBook Pro and industry Leader in my opinion. Once you go Mac, you'll never go Back.

We've needed a new computer for a while now and finally decided to make the investment to a mac. It has been the best money ever spent. It was easy to learn how to use. I will never go back to a PC. Wish my work computer was a mac!!

From the sleek look to the impressive speed and software the Macbook Pro with retina is the way to go, especially if looking for a computer for college. I absolutely love my MacBook. This was to replace my last one which was 6 1/2 years old, having given me no problems. Only reason I needed to replace it was eventually the logic board went. But after that long of use, and I was not quite kind to it, I have to give the computer a lot of credit. My only issues are obviously that Macs are expensive. Hit, 6 1/2 years makes it a good investment IMO. The SSD is great, but the lack of any form of optical drive is a drawback.

The MacBook Pro is a quality product with impressive video and audio. This purchase continues our positive experiences with Apple products. The single downside we have experienced was the lack of a CD/DVD drive and the external was an additional cost on top of the already high price of Apple products. With that said, it is still a worthwhile purchase and recommend this item to friends and family.

Other than the price, there isn't a thing I think I would change on this laptop. The i7/16GB/SSD combo give it amazing performance. Coming from a 13.3 windows laptop, I was a little concerned about the learning curve and how much space it would take. The trackpad has become such 2nd nature, I don't even use a mouse anymore and the display is gorgeous. The build quality and screen are excellent.

This thing starts up incredibly fast, thanks to the SSD. I am a little disappointed that the salesperson didn't encourage me to wait two weeks for the 2015 model but I don't think I am missing out on much. I will never build a pc again. This is the best photoshop machine I have ever used. 10/10 would buy again.

Gave it to my spouse for a birthday present. A+ results. He absolutely loved the Macbook Pro. We are an Apple family. Nothing is wrong with his other one, seven years old. Beautiful,fast,efficient and lots of memory. Just wanted him to have a new one. He keeps one at work and the new one at home. Watches movies on it as the screen is so BIG. He does his reports on the computer and updates.

I purchased this Macbook to replace my 6 year old Macbook Pro that was starting to go out on me. I'm a web designer and graphic designer so I put my mac's through their paces. This was my first Retina display Macbook and wow, incredible difference. The quality of the screen in incredible! I also love the solid state HD, makes start up so much quicker. You just can't go wrong with a Mac.

The MacBook added to my suite of Apple products so everything will sync across all platforms. The laptop is lightweight, easy to carry, easy to use. My only complaint is that Best Buy would not honor price matching on Apple products - not even when I called customer service. So, their ad is incorrect.
