The computer is slow. It has 16 GB of Ram and i7 processor but sometimes it stops working and and freezes it takes up to 30 seconds to work again.

I should state this is my 6th apple computer so I am loyal to the brand. This is by far the best laptop I have ever had. I miss having the DVD drive and a few usb slots but it makes up for that in speed and performance.

I bought this MacBook pro using a BestBuy student discount on a lower price even though it is top of the line laptop. This is 2nd MacBook I am using. I would say nothing come close to MacBook hardware quality and performance. Also the Operating system is much superior than regular windows OS. You can get the flavor of both Unix and rich, elegant, advanced UI from OSX. I had one WiFi related issue in the first one week. Somehow the laptop can't reconnect to my network after wake up from sleep mode without a hard wifi reset. After several conversations with Apple customer service, figured out that it was my Cisco router causing the issue. After a config change it was resolved. Then after updating to new OSX Yosemite the issue has permanently fixed.

Couldn't be happier. Laptop is great. Easy to work with.

This laptop is phenomenal to use for a programmer. It is optimally designed over its competitors to navigate through workspaces very easily. Also, it's hands-down a nice computer to code in. It's so shiny and nice.

By far the best machine out there for regular, business and above use. Apple tech is the best to use and easiest to integrate. Takes a bit to adjust from years of PC training but the OS is so user friendly and fast it's all worth it!! I don't know why they even have Windows software anymore! I love it so much I bought 2!!

I recently had to replace my previous MacBook Pro, 15" display, 500 GB drive, & 4 GB memory purchased in 2009. Updated to the "modern" equivalent, 15" display, 256 GB drive, & 16 GB memory, of my previous machine. I'm definitely loving the 16 GB of memory. While I'm a bit disappointed I couldn't afford the machine with the larger internal drive, I do like the increased speed of the drive. Also, adding an external drive is inexpensive and more than compensates for the loss of internal drive space. As such, my final score should count as a 4.5 stars, but proper rounding and all that ...
