I realize you get what you pay for when I tried to use a Microsoft surface for managing my photos and music and it was terrible at both. So I went with the MacBook pro and I love love love it. Yes it cost me twice as much but it does exactly what I want and makes managing my pictures and music fun and easy.

Awesome magnification and lighted keyboard. Fun launchpad app and love the FaceTime and ability to answer iPhone from computer with Bluetooth.

What can I say. If you want the best OS/HW platform this is it. Wish it had better storage options at lower price points but hey....it's Apple.

This thing does it all and then some. Suitable for almost everyone except hardcore gamers and people with limited size or weight allowance.

The best laptop to buy, if you are looking for high processing speed laptops. This is perfectly good for gaming. Fastest PC on this planet. A bit high on the price, but its worth every penny.

This MacBook is the perfect size for portability and has a large enough screen to work efficiently. I'm a graphic designer and I like to work in various environments. So this is a nice enough size. Just plug in a Magic Mouse and a second display if you want more versatility. I paired my purchase with a clear Speck case and clear port plugs to protect my investment.

I was very excited to buy this MacBook, because I love my iMac and as a graphic designer I only use Apple products. Unfortunately, Adobe hasn't made their Creative Suite InDesign and Acrobat software compatible with the retina display. It seems Apple is progressing at a speed that Adobe cannot keep up with, and it is a big disappointment and makes it difficult to work because the programs are pixelated.

Best laptop I have ever owned, powerful, and the screen is beautiful.

OS X is a very solid OS. And Apple puts together some solid hardware to make this computer very solid. I love the fact that you can squeeze almost 10 hours of battery life if you had to (by dimming the screen and limiting your usage of course). Garage band was a little slow with very minimal editing but I'm guessing that's atypical behavior because this computer is on the higher end in terms of specs. All the other functionality is really quick.

I love MAC's and will always have them. My last MAC I had for about 7 years before the screen went out. IMO, the long stretch of time and no bugs from the internet works out great for me!

I needed a laptop, for my productivity company and i was not sure what kind of operating system to get and all i can say is that i'll never regret buying this macbook pro, it's the best.

A little different to use compared to my Microsoft laptop but very easy to get setup and start using.

With the new Macbook Pro 2015 out, this 2014 version was put on sale. I think the new feature isn't that critical to my office, so we got this for $100 cheaper. It is working great.

I like how apple products are simple to understand and my macbook pro is no different. I mostly just use it for music, netflix, homework, and browsing the internet, but it's awesome.

i walked in to buy a laptop and an I-pad thinking i"d be there for hours. To my surprise i was in and out in less than 45 mins. It was easy because the staff was very intelligent.

This laptop is well made with tons of function for daily use. I use this for work and casual functions and it did an excellent job.

Upgraded from an old macbook pro. I don't have any major complaints except for the lack of the drive. Otherwise, an excellent (albeit expensive) laptop that does things right.
