This is a great laptop and has great graphics, good amount of storage, and is easy to use.

I love it. Its light weight, and easy to use straight out of the box.

If used for doing light activity like school it's perfect. But online gaming it will overheat quickly, so i'm pretty sure with a laptop cooler it can be fine i'm not so sure. Watching videos online will get warm it is fine but I recommend getting a CPU monitor

I like this laptop very much, It has good-looking and works very fast. And has no noise. The only problem is that I can't install origin to this operating system. Whatever I like it.

Best computer ever! Graphics, battery life amazing

I received this computer as a gift for Christmas (from my husband, so I had some input). I'm three days into using it and I'm just not sure it's worth the money. We bought it because I already had an iPhone and an iPad and I wanted seamless integration between my devices. This, coupled with the fact that I take a lot of pictures and had many friends rave about how great Apple computers (particularly MacBook Pros) were for photo and video editing, sold me on spending the extra money for this computer. As I said, three days in, I'm not sure I'm feeling it. For starters, I used my old computer a lot to play Candy Crush on Facebook. Using this computer for that purpose is a nightmare. I had to download Flash and it is so, so slow. I thought Mac's were known for their quick performance but I literally spend 5-10 minutes waiting for Candy Crush to load, and even at that, it frequently gets hung up and I have to refresh and start the whole process over again. The battery has nowhere near the battery length touted by the sales person. It may be longer than that of my HP, but it's definitely not 8-10 hours of usage I also purchased Office 2011 to go along with this computer. Due to the number of spreadsheets that I use on a daily basis, moving back and forth between multiple computers, using Apple's Numbers software just wasn't feasible. There is a whole new learning curve associated with using a familiar software on a new OS. It is nowhere near as quick and intuitive as using the same software on a Windows computer. Additionally, files that I use on a daily basis would not open properly in Excel, giving me an error message indicating that the file was already in use.... by me. I would attempt to open in Read-Only, only to receive a message indicating that the file was available to edit. When I clicked to Edit, I was once again told it was already in use. I have not even used it for photo editing at this point, and the lack of an internal DVD drive means I will likely be shelling out another $100 on an external to burn discs. The small hard drive means that I will be saving everything to an external drive, and the fact that I haven't been able to open Windows generated Excel files on my Mac Book makes me very leery of creating new files on an Apple. All in all, my "dream" computer may end up being a $1900 nightmare.

I upgraded from a late 2008 MacBook Pro to this one and couldn't be happier. The new features and much faster speeds have made this well worth the investment.

Great laptop I was hesitant to spend the money however five years later it runs like brand new and I couldn’t live without it.

This is my first Mac and I really like it. It has some cool features Windows doesn't have such as easier to send large files by e-mail, you can text from your computer if you use an iPhone, you can click on a phone number on a web page and have it dial it from your phone, etc. I also love the mouse features. The mouse pad is easier to use than most computers these days because of how right clicking and left clicking works on them. Unfortunately, there are some basic things it can't do that you can do on Windows. For instance, instead of scrolling forever to find the folder you want, on Windows, you can use the search feature at the top of the window and start keying in that folder name. The metal casing of the computer makes it feel like a premium machine unlike most of the cheap, plastic computers on the market.

This is a great machine. I was an early adopter of Mac back in the 1980's but once my employer when the Windows route I had little reason to go back. Now enter Windows 8.whatever. Microsoft has not build a OS that made me say no more and return to Mac. I actually feel good about it. The learning curve isn't very big especially for any for with even a modicum of LINUX. I am having a blast being back to a real OS machine combo that works. Happy Mac to y'all!!

I use my laptop for developing online learning materials, videos and documents. I teach a present internationally and get so frustrated with the constant crashing. It is Tuesday and my computer has crashed 3 times this week already. It often crashes when I am either saving or importing causing a significant loss of work product.

I love windows...... I just buy this Mac because look nice and tighten security i like it i lot.... Yes for searching and YouTube Google Facebook works great.... I do think the Windows Laptops and desktops are much better upgrade for everything.... Windows is way open....
