Great laptop with Retina display

Start up and shut down are almost instant and these are best part of this laptop. It was little hard for few days - switching from windows to Mac. Now I don’t have any issues in using the laptop to the fullest.

Broke within 40 days!!! WHAT THE ???
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My kids insisted that my next computer be a MAC, so I bought one through Best Buy (I'm a very loyal customer!) Order date 3/20/2015 and today is 4/30/2015 and it takes like 7 tries to power on. Before I would hit the button and it would power on within 10 seconds (which was awesome) but now I have to sit and keep hitting the button...so I called Best Buy and they said I could have returned it within 15 days, otherwise, I'm on my own and have to pay for someone to look at it!!! REALLY???!!! That's for the birds... Shame on Best Buy and Mac. I thought they would have at least a YEAR of warranty on such an expensive laptop! I'm not happy right now...

No DVD/CD player

Didn't even think to see if it did. Just assumed a computer at this price point would automatically have one! Costly mistake on my part!

No Battery back up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery lasts for only 3 and half hours in the specifications its 8 hours very disappointed with the product. I went to best buy on 3rd week after I bought this they told to visit Apple store. When I went to the apple store they told that we have to keep the brightness very low. I tried it but no use. Still its the same 3 and half hours.
