This was purchased for school. The 13 inch with 512 gb is excellent for use at home and school. Fairly light- not as light as the MacBook Air, but more power to multitask. Compared to prior laptop pc's, Apple still remains an incredibly quality product. I still use a 2009 laptop MacBook that has never gone down. I suspect this will be the same.

Upgraded from a late 2009 model and this is so much faster! My previous MacBook was nearing the end of its life and I was looking for something with a long life, speed, and storage. This MacBook covers it all!

I bought this to replace a 10 year old Mac laptop. I still can't get over how fast it is!! Love the clarity of the display and the size and lightness of the laptop. Also like the raised keys of the keyboard.

I have always been a PC person due to having an iPhone decided to invest in a Mac and so glad I did! It's taken me a little while to learn to navigate a Mac but I think I have the hang of it. Love the display quality and all features. I'm new to Macs so can't get into details but so far I love my MacBook Pro!

I am very pleased with the MacBook Pro w Retin Display. I was hesitant because my work requires the use of several Windows based programs, however, with Parallels, I have the convenience of both Windows and ISO features. So far, all my computing needs are being met with this setup, including the use of QuickBooks Pro Enhanced Payroll.

We were looking for something to take with us on vacation and still be able to do some graphics jobs while away. This was a great investment. Great performance, decent battery life & super lightweight.

A great buy if you do not require enormous disk space. Performance is relatively acceptable at 8GB memory and Core i5 processor.

I tried to go the PC Route. I took it back after 4 days and got my Mac Book Pro. There is no comparison. Mac is the way to go!!! I got this one for travel as it is smaller and lighter. I love it!!!

I do need a computer since my old mac pro was totally giving up already and i decided to get this one. Its amazing and I have no complaint about this. Its really updated one and really fast. The only downside of this computer is doesn't have cd reader which i needed the most. So i need to buy one separate.

Purchased to replace an older, ailing Macbook. Very easy to set up and transfer files from Time Machine backup of old Macbook. Have had it for about a month and so far we are very happy with it. Use it mostly for web browsing, photos and light MS office work. Speed is excellent as is the battery life.

It works very fast , the screen looks amazing and its very light and yet has every port I need without the need of dongles like the new macbook pro. This for me is worth the price tag

I had an old HP and was in be sorest need to get a new computer. My HP was only working if I kept it plugged in. I have Apple TV and an iPhone so this seemed like the next logical step. Since having it, my world has changed for the better. The battery life is great and you can't beat the screen image.

I work as a Technology Chief and i needed something faster and a robust system. I wanted something that show rich colors and a crisp text, as i do a lot of designing, documentation, etc. Macbook Pro is the best in terms of design, material, operating system, performance. I was not sure if i would ever be able to switch from Windows to Mac, as i was using Windows since i got my first computer in 90's. Most of the applications that i use work with Mac OS, I think i cannot live without this laptop and this is what i was always looking for. Last but not the least, you can even install Windows 10 on this computer, if you want a dual operating system.

This is a great laptop, as I expected (since it's my third MacBook Pro). Not much different than my older model (last year's). Seems a bit faster and the touchpad clicks require the same amount of force, regardless where you touch it.

I have a 818 credit score and was unable to use my Best Buy card because mycredit card limit was historically set for a $1,000.00. Consequently; I did not get the points because I had to use another credit card. The delevery time did not coincide with the delvery time quoted me by the sales person by one and a half weeks. There is a charge attrributed for virus protaction that I intend to dispute as I do not purchase virus products. Because of the above experience I will purchase my Apple products from the Apple store in the future. I know that this is not the type of review youcan embrace, but your practices in this case was sorely lacking. Service 1 star

I have had macbooks pro before but this model is amazing the speed to do operations and been able to multitask ( I am a Dj on a night club ) I can be playing music, playing videos and searching online all at the same time and the laptop is like that's all you got is amazing great purchase.
