I bought this laptop for my spouse as a gift as he is returning to school. It's a very convenient size to take from home, to school and work. Works great so far, absolutely no complaints.

I have always had imac computers and never owned a laptop. I don't know why I waited so long! This is the best purchase I could have made. The Best Buy Apple sales person was great too!

Great computer. It's my 2nd MacBook Pro, but this newest version is so much more advanced. So pleased with this purchase. I found a better deal at Best Buy, than buying through Apple.

I was torn between the Air and the MacBook Pro but am thrilled with the Pro. I is much lighter than my last one (7 years of service) and feels more substantial than the Air on my lap.

When considering a Windows based or Mac based laptop, the speed, agility and reliability of the MacBook Pro Retina is by far superb.

I have always been a fan of Apple products and was just able to purchase a Mac book. It runs faster than my old pc. Has no issues I have come across yet. Very good purchase

Apple has a few laptop on the market 2015, and I was thinking among MacBook 12, MacBook Pro Retina 13, and MacBook Pro Retina 15. MacBook 12 is really light, but it has two issues. First, it has new USB-C interface, and extra bucks need to be spent if you want either external storage or external display. Second, it is really powerless. Its performance is really close to 2012 MacBook Air, based on review from internet. MacBook Pro Retina 15 is big and heavy, not to mention it didn't use the newer (fifth-generation) dual-core Intel Core processor. By elimination, MacBook Pro Retina 13 is the choice and I am happy for it.

This is capable of handling a lot of tasks and fun to use. With 8GB RAM I find it's been super fast for running simulators and working with code. It was pricy but worth it.

It's a little pricey but works well. The boot up time is very fast due to the solid state drive. The OS is excellent. If you can afford it, this is a great laptop to have.

Had to replace my previous Mac due to a unfortunate coffee spill accident. Upgraded to this and love it. Quick start up, ease of use. Wouldn't buy any other computer.

Overall product is very solid and useful but the elimination of some old features is aggravating. The standard mouse is awful with a feeble scroll roller and vague/ineffective right click. The newest settings for the trackpad allow touch or click to activate an action where the old settings allowed for click only. The problem is that the touch can be accidental and causes all sorts of unintended consequences ... deleted mail, opeing screens, activating screens when you are simply scrolling around, etc. Also, mail settings no longer allows you to set time parameters on changing something from marked as unread to read. I don't like it when I delete a mail item and the item next to it is automatically marked as read when I haven't actually read it. There used to be a setting that allowed you to have mail moved to "read" only after a number of seconds or a "hard open". Other than these items, the product is easy to use, well build and designed and dependable with good support.

Bought for my college student, who wanted a great computer, one that was easy to carry on campus and highly functional. He got everything he wanted with this computer.

Used for Internet surfing, performing online tasks like bill pay, and basic word processing. Fast startup, easy to use.

This Macbook pro is very fast and the retina display is super. There are a few things I miss or need to learn how to work around, coming from a windows 10 computer but so far I really like it. I put Microsoft office on it and it works well but do not plan to run windows on it. The time machine works great for backup so I can do away with online backup. The magic mouse works great with it as well.
