I replaced my old mid2012 mac with the I7 with this model and this one seems to be a little slower, this one has an i5 in it but still after 3 years the I5 should be just as fast. I also dislike the fact that the storage can not be upgraded like the previous model as this one has the memory sodered in. The keep board seems a little weaker than the old one but thats mainly due to the thickness of the computer. The screen is amazing there is a noticable diffrence between the old model and this one and this one is way lighter.

I needed to replace a 6 year old MacBook that could no longer be updated. This Mac has the perfect amount of storage for me and as I expected it is faster than my old one. I do wish Apple would let us continue to update old hardware but I suppose no one would ever buy a new one if they did that. Very pleased with my purchase.

great laptop. plenty of storage and space. came from windows, and will never go back. Yes, you get what you pay for quality.

I choose this laptop over the Macbook Air due to the number of USB slots available. Very powerful and not too heavy. Love it!

Really love this. Still getting used to the Mac way of doing things, but I love it. Lightweight and how the machine just feels.

Purchased this laptop for our son as a college graduation gift. It is a newer, higher capacity version of his previous laptop. Love the SSD and Retina display. I personally, have always been a PC person, but I am starting to think I would like to convert to Mac. I might just put this laptop on my wish list for Christmas :)

I've had numerous Apple MacBooks, and this new one is by far the best. With the flash drive there's no heat, there's no waiting it's just Bam right there. It was tough going from a 15 to 13 inch screen, but the retina display more than makes up for it. I love it and love the price the team worked for me to get.

This is my second MacBook Pro and I am not disappointed. It's faster and lighter and the retina display is second to none. So far I have never been disappointed with the MacBook Pro line of laptops. There's plenty of storage space and lots of RAM. I never experience any slowness and it gets the job done.

with its' larger capacity storage, processor, light weight makes this laptop an easy choice for longevity and use.. Extremely portable for easy of use in the classroom

Upgraded from a 2011 Macbook Pro. The display on this computer is outstanding and the speed is considerably better.

Have been a hold out on switching to Apple for a few years. Finally, gave in and bought the Mac Book Pro. So glad I did. Love how fast it is and easy set up. Still learning some aspects of it but don't regret the purchase for a second! Have been adding many of my CDs to my iTunes account. Love this!

Perfect laptop for my college bound daughter. This is an upgrade from her 13 inch MacBook with the white shell.

This is a great laptop. I run many programs on it at once and there is no lag time. It's lightweight and durable so far. It is a little pricey for the specs.
