Nice compact laptop

Operation is easy and the look of the laptop is just plain sexy. A little pricy compared to similar PC but it has the apple quality that I have enjoyed for years with my iPhones and iPads. Totally worth the extra money.

Great hardware - shame about the OS

The hardware is great, but after upgrading to El Capitain OS, a couple of key third-party applications don't work, including a NetGear wireless printing application. Plus, I wish I'd read the on-line chatter about PhotoShop compatibility issues before I upgraded from Yosemite. This makes me very hesitant to buy that software (Adobe does not list El Capitain as being compatible with PS Elements 14) . Thus, I'm back to my trusty (if not cool) Windows PC for much of the stuff I wanted to do on my MacBook. Maybe the software issues will get resolved but the out-of-box experience has been less than smooth and at this point I feel as if I've bought a glorified iPad.

Excellent Computer, excellent price

Ashley at Best Buy helped me settle on the MacBook Pro 13" by pointing out several features I needed and the price had been reduced to my price range. I indeed got the best bang for my buck. And I'm making new computing discoveries everyday with my MacBook Pro.
