This laptop is very good. Beneficial changes would be to increase the storage space, add the CD drive back and lower the price to match other companies' comparable products.

I have never owned a MacBook or any Apple computer but we do own other apple products (iPods and iPhones). I was nervous switching from Windows to iOS but I am sure glad that I did. I love everything about this computer. I am not computer savvy but I am able to maneuver my way around this computer without a problem.

I had a Mac Mini and upgraded to the Macbook Pro. What a difference!!! Super fast, crystal clear Retina display and no sound SSD drive. The migration assistance moved everything (settings, users, files, applications) from my old Mac to the new one. Now I can finally work on my large high resolution photos in Photoshop.

I purchased this laptop to go back to graduate school. It was an easy transition from Windows to Mac. Best Buy was helpful in explaining the details. Love the computer!

I have an iPhone, iPad, iPod and now a MacBook Pro. I am, once again, impressed with Apple and the quality that their products have. I have always had Windows computers, but from now on I will use Mac. I only wish I switched over years ago.

Love the MacBook Pro I purchased mainly for my work computer. I have been using Macs for years and the speed and power of this one are amazing. Would highly recommend.

My daughter is going to a UC and needed a laptop that was current and upto date with the latest software and good hardware and a reputation of being a reliable laptop this one filled all of the requirements fantastic laptop she’s still using it and it hasn’t missed a beat

Great laptop, it is my first Apple MacBook. No local college offers a class on how to use and navigate, it would be great if Best Buy would since they are an authorosized dealer for Apple! Woodfield is the closest and if that is our only choice I guess we might as well buy from them.

I purchased this to upgrade from my 2008 MacBook. Best decision I've made since 2008. If you're still stuck in the stone age like I was, then its time to make the leap to a newer model. You will not regret it.

I was very hesitant about purchasing a mac after using a PC for that last few years. The transition has been easy and seamless. I have had no issues learning the quirks. You can't go wrong with this computer!

As an image consultant and photographer, there's nothing else I'd trust. Had PC's and laptops, but I could never trust them as much as my Mac. I bought this one because I've owned my previous Mac since 2008 with no problems. I just thought it was time for a new one.

Best laptop for multiple uses. I use it for work. I am an insurance agent and it works great in the field. The only thing is that its very delicate and while it was in my work bag I noticed a scratch but other then that everything is good. Good buy.

I bought the Macbook because my daughter has one and she loves it! She says it has been very dependable and the only time she has had a problem the Apple service was efficient and helpful.

Bought this item for my son who is splitting college courses with his last year of high school. Apple makes quality up to date merchandise that is very compatible with almost everything out there. Hoping this lasts all four years for my son

So far this laptop has been great. My wife loves it just as much as every other Apple product. I personally am an Android/Windows guy, and it's even growing on me a little bit lol Great build quality, solid specs, all in all great machine.

I purchased this for my son who will be starting college. We got an additional $100 off due to him being a student. I am very impressed with the processing power & memory, it should definitely go the distance for this busy college kid.

I purchased this for my wife as a present. It's our family's third MacBook Pro Retina. We've been extremely happy with our Apple products. We use them anywhere from professional photo editing, word processing, and IT Administration.

A great deal landed on this, and I bit. But it's a lot of money and my Air stills works beautifully so I couldn't just dump it. After about 4 weeks, I decided I didn't want that $1,600 debt hanging over me and returned it, thanks to the extended return of being an Elite Rewards member. Plus, the benefits of this "upgrade" just wouldn't get logical. If it'd been about half the price, I'd a kept it. But, Apple needs to lower their prices........they've lost their edge.

First time Apple user and am loving it. Have a lot to learn but my daughter is well versed in Apple products. I do miss Microsoft Office however I can buy Office for Mac. Trying out Apple's programs and they are not too bad.
