I've always had a Microsoft based PC and an android phone. This year I made the switch and my life has benefited greatly. Apple has allowed me to streamline my life and this MacBook Pro has changed the way I do business for the better!

Very useful, and well worth every dollar! Recommend to everyone!

Apple says this laptop can do up to 10 hours in a single charge of light web browsing and such. After 3-5 hours tops I have to plug it in to the outlet. I tested it with only a few tabs open checking email, Facebook, and a video from time to time. Coming from a MacBook air (11 hours easy, or more), there is definitely a huge issue with this machine's battery. If I was you, I would hold on buying it for now and wait until Apple releases a patch to fix the issue or make an announcement for a recall or a part fix. Hopefully it is only a software issue and it will get fixed soon. In the mean time, I'll be returning mine for a full refund and wait to hear better news about the battery life issue. Other than this, the machine is amazing, built quality is the best in its class and the screen is beautiful. Touch-bar becomes useless after first playing with it, but hopefully developers will create new software to take full advantage of it.

Purchased this MacBook Pro for granddaughter who is starting college to major in mass media. She has been editing videos, etc & absolutely loves it! She said it is perfect for everything she needs & does. We highly recommend it!!!

Fast. My only reservation is the need for adapters for everything because Apple changed the ports.

Light weight. easy to use. Nice screen. Touch Bar not critical but handy.

This is my second purchase of a Mac Book, and its only better! The ports seemed to scare me seeing as I would loose even the UBS, but with the dongle it is so simple. The touch bar is the feature that really sold me. Great purchase!

Everything is smooth so far. It's tough to beat the Apple OS. The touch bar is very nice. I plan on using this MacBook to develop as well.

Overall, great product! Battery life seems to be my only issue. The touch bar is a neat feature but I haven't used it too often. Before purchasing, I knew I probably wouldn't utilize it, however, might as well spend a little extra money if you want the latest product! Very light weight lap top and great retina display. The battery life is not the greatest, however, it's not something that will die on you in a short time.

This laptop far exceeded our expectations. It's fast and did everything it is supposed to do. There was an Apple product specialist on site at the Best Buy and was of tremendous help to me and picking this laptop for my wife.

Finally upgraded my 2009 MacBook Pro with this. I am very happy with this purchase, which I have had for about a month. I am just getting the hang of the TouchBar and I am very excited for new apps to come out, such as Spotify.

So far this is living up to my expectations. It took some getting use to and the touch bar needs more applications to work with it (i.e. Microsoft office suite) but I can see that I'm going to love this. I'm a true convert now.

I love this new MacBook. Didn't realize how much I was missing in comparison to my 2011 MB Pro. Some complain about the touch bar, but frankly, I think it's great. Can't wait to see how much it is enhanced in the future.

I have owned seversal Apple MacBook Pros and this by far is the best. I love the larger touchpad, the keyboard is much improved and the touch bar is very useful. I like the way it changes based on the application I ajm using.

I've have had laptops for years now and this is my first purchase of a Mac and I have the Mac Pro and I love it and the fact that i sync with my iPad and iPhone. i will never go back to a Windows laptop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the new features. Because the laptop has advance technology, there is no direct USB and HDMI connections. However, attachments can be purchased to have access to the USB and HDMI ports. A great laptop to purchase.
