This laptop is amazing, love the new touchbar and can't wait until all apps utilize this technology.

After exclusively using Windows laptops, I made the switch to Apple. Wish I had done it sooner. This is a premium product in every way. Only negative is the price, although high-tier Windows computers aren't much cheaper.

This is my 3rd Mac and I love it. It is fast, the keyboard is great and the set up is simple.

This laptop is the best built computer I have ever owned. I love the feel of the aluminum body and when I lift the screen to use it. The TouchBar is OKAY. The TouchBar was not the reason I opted out of getting the base model of this laptop versus this one. I wanted the extra CPU power. The TouchBar was a bonus. You do also get 2 extra ThunderBolt ports with this model versus the base. Charging of the laptop is super fast. Probably no longer than an hour or 1.5 hours to charge fully from being dead? The keyboard is kind of goofy because of the short throws of the keys. It does allow you to type very fast however sometimes you do have to go back and re-click a button (AKA Caps Lock) because it didn't register. That's really been my own pet peeve about it.

I researched a plenty before deciding to buy the new 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Overall, it is a great upgrade compared to past MacBook Pros...but more designed for the non professionals who don't require the dedicated inputs/outputs. Unfortunately, I will be returning mine due to purchasing an "open box" certified by Geek Squad. The condition of the MacBook Pro was not in "new" condition and seemed to have already appeared to have some wear regarding the keyboard. The MacBook Pro arrived via UPS with slight damage on the exterior packaging and the MacBook Pro itself was "filthy" and appeared to have dirt/oil residue. I expected that it was not cleaned before repackaging for resale. I guess trying to save a few $$$ wasn't worth it.
