What a great computer -- light, fast and is used for actual homework. The touch bar is such a great addition to an already awesome computer.

No doubt I did a great choice on sticking to MAC's. The new sensitive scrooling bar is outmost! I would by another one tomorrow if I needed!

Powerful and smaller than my previous MacBook Air 13. Love the color space grey the keyboard has better play than the regular MacBook.

Awesome laptop. Everything is cool in the laptop. Be it beautiful display, or heat beating lap friendly powerhouse, or solid battery life, or professional level sound.The best thing i have liked is the touchbar and touch ID feature. On top of it, touchbar makes it look super cool. Since the time I have received it, I have not even looked at my old laptop. I bought it on the day when I got 300$ off, and got it on a very reasonable price. It's surely a value for money!! I strongelly recommend this macbook!

its far more compact than the older models, and faster, the touch bar takes some getting used to but you learn to love it.

Been wanting a MacBook for a while now and this is the perfect laptop for anyone! Love apple and there software, a bit expensive but your paying for the experience and conectivity. Also the touch bar is awesome!

I had the MacBook Pro 13" 2009 model and absolutely loved it. I knew there was no way to go back to PC especially since I grew up on Mac's! The touchbar makes things so much easier and I use it A LOT more than I thought I would! I was hesitant about the USB-C ports but the adapter has been phenomenal and hasn't had a single glitch, even with using it every single day. Take the plunge and go Apple if you're looking for a good quality, long lasting computer!!! I promise you won't regret it.

Was skeptical about the touch bar, but once I grew comfortable with it, I began to use it more effectively, & thus used it more often. Unfortunately it was stolen in December, so I will be buying again.

I highly recommend a Mac laptop. Their quality is awesome and they last at least three times longer than Windows laptops. One reason being is the craftsmanship in both laptops. The Mac is constructed from Aluminum, it in itself is a heat conduit. Aluminum absorbs heat and is basically a heat sink for the entire computer. To give you an idea of how well aluminum works, they use aluminum heat sinks in desktop computers. The aluminum heat sink sits on top of the CPU (Central Processing Unit) which is the hottest part of the computer. Aluminum is a fantastic conductor of heat. This enables apple's laptops to be thinner than plastic variants could ever comfortably be (and if they were, the air coming out would be searing hot, and the plastic would be too thin). The aluminum acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat to the environment, allowing fans to run cooler and quieter. It also has a low coefficient of thermal expansion - allowing it to be unibody without expanding so much that it would stress parts that are screwed into the chassis - like the main board, etc. Compare that to Windows plastic models. Plastic is easy to cast, but they are very cheap, this is why they use plastic, it is an easy to make, process. Plastic can be lighter than aluminum, depending on the grad, and they are resistant to dents (alu, and other metals dent easily, but don't crack. Plastics crack, but don't dent). Plus, plastic is a terrible heat sink, prone to melting if overheated. Also the construction inside the Mac Laptop channels the heat away from the inside via the fan and channel ducks. Compare to most Windows computers that are made out of plastic and you can see why they last longer. Heat is the worst enemy of any electronic product, especially a laptop. Mac’s also use genuine parts as a windows computer will use anything that is the cheapest.

This is a great computer with a lot of future potential. There are only a limited number of apps or programs that work with the Touch Bar, but it's a very good innovation and the machine itself runs quickly. The only other negative is that it has less hard drive storage than previous MacBooks, so if you had a machine with higher and hard drive storage you won't be able to transfer everything to this one. If you're in the 500 GB range before, though, you'll be fine.

This computer is fast and very easy to use. I’m. Or constantly having to do updates like I’ve had to do with my Windows based computers. Overall a very good experience, and a very good buy.

This was a gift for my grandson and he is loving it. The ability to select through the touchbar, the programs included - he even sent me a heart he drew on the screen - and he is getting ready to take it to college. It is light, the display is easy to read and very sharp. He described it as "Awesome". We did buy the protection plan as suggested by our salesperson due to the fact that the touchbar is so new but so far we have not had any issues.

New MacBook is very lightweight without giving up power speed. Very fast, very clear screen, Works great.

I'm an Apple fan and we are a complete Apple household so I'm coming from a place of respect for the product line. I purchased the 13" laptop for many features with size being a real attraction. I dont consider myself a power user meaning I tend to simulaneously use a few Microsoft programs along with a browser. I quickly experienced the 'spinning wheel' and investigated via Apple's Activity Monitor and a session with Apple Technician thinking the problem might be something I was doing wrong. Due to the limitation of RAM (8GB soldered) I would be unable to increase in the future (my experience says RAM issues only increase with time) so I returned the laptop for the next size up with 16GB RAM.

I really love this computer. It's great. It's fast speed and I actually got the external hard drive so that I could keep all my documents on it and not worry about filling the hard drive with extra documents. It has a different port adapter than the newer generation iPhones and the other older MacBook Pros and so there is an adapter to accommodate that. It was a great buy and it works with all my apple products. I got the 13" screen and there is a bigger screen but I did want the faster processessor and overall I would say it's the best computer money can buy plus with Apple products you don't have to worry about so many viruses attacking your computer as you do traditional IBM type computers.

I am a Apple fan boy and appreciate that sometimes innovation requires inconvenience, but a little compromise would have been nice. I love the keyboard, larger trackpad and the touch bar is nice (it takes a while to remember to actually use it), but having to use a dongle for EVERYTHING is ridiculous. I am looking at a beautiful Dell 34 inch curved monitor, the sleek space gray MBP , a silly multi port adapter, an SD card with pics I need to download, a 1TB portable hard drive for work files and I am thinking Apple understand some of us use these laptops to actually work.

This replaced my 2011 MacBook Pro and has not disappointed me yet. I like the smaller 13" for portability and didn't need the 15". Although the 15" is more powerful this has done everything I need it to do. The everyday tasks: email, word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and surfing the internet. But it also handles video production with ease. I use FCP and Motion to make all of my videos. Would buy it again and again.

I can't believe how crisp the screen is. Lightweight. Beautiful. Versatile. Worth the money.

Purchased this to replace my MacBook Pro that was purchased in 2010. I really can't complain. My old MacBook never let me down and gave me 7 great years but this new MacBook is a HUGE upgrade from my old model. I wasn't sure if I would like the touch bar but after a few weeks of using it i am very impressed with this feature. I still miss not having an SD card slot and USB I know eventually I will adjust.

It is so great for college. It's light, easy to use and set up. And it's very fast.
