After buying a new 15" 2018 MacBook Pro, I decided to go all out with my desktop setup and snag this keyboard and a Magic Mouse to match my Space Grey laptop. At first, I wasn't thrilled that I had to get the numeric keypad extension, because I wanted this to be ultra portable. After using it for a few weeks, I'm not disappointed at all, and I've forgotten how nice it is to have the numpad for accounting and such. This bad boy charges ultra fast via lightning, and I love not having to charge batteries relentlessly like I did with my older Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The complaints that I've seen regarding "feel" are completely up to individual preference. This keyboard feels just like the MacBook Pro keyboard, so switching back and forth is a breeze. If you're not used to the butterfly keys, then yes, I can see how this would not be your favorite right away. It's all just a matter of preference. At $150, I wouldn't declare this a must-buy, but if you're building a portable desktop setup that is light and portable, this is a great addition.

The keyboard is built with quality material and is very quiet when typing. The touch ID works flawlessly and the battery hasn't died on me yet, I bought the keyboard two weeks ago. I would buy again, although I dont think ill ever need to, the keyboard is built to last.

This keyboard is worth the money for me. I bought a new MacBook Pro at the first of the year and used my other wireless keyboard I had. The other branded keyboard would not always work right using the number pad. After purchasing the Magic Keyboard, I have no issues with that. It connects automatically. Easy to turn off when traveling.

I purchased an Ipad and then had to return it because it couldn't do what I needed to do to work from home. I returned it and purchased a small computer and it is wonderful. Everyone who helped me was great. They took the time to explain what was wrong and what I needed to get to correct the issue. I was very happy with the final outcome. I would have liked to get a mac computer but it ws too expensive and I like the small samsung I purchsed that still has great features. When you work from home you have to have the correct tools. Thank You Best Buy!!!!!!

I love how Apple finally made a 10 key number pad wireless keyboard. The keys on this are different from their past wireless keyboard but they are better than the butterfly style keys on the new macbooks. This keyboard feels very solid and I love the on and off slide style switch and color! I wish this color wasn't more expensive than the white keyboard thought.

This product is a great addition to my home work place I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting a keyboard . One thing I love about this keyboard that it is sleek or in other words thin and as an addition it looks very nice. I would have gave this product a whopping 5 out of 5 but thing that is stoping me is the back lights I would have loved it if it had backlight cause then it would be a little easier to work in the dark beside that it is a really good product I had this for about 1 year and I love it so to wrap it up I recommend this keyboard for people who wants something sleek and a keyboard battery that lasts for a long time .

Great Keyboard - Just think about size when buying

I have a new M1 MacBook Pro and this keyboard works great. Make sure you allow Bluetooth devices to wake the computer and any key press will do the trick. What I didn’t consider when purchasing was the size. The letters portion of the keyboard take you the length of the 13”, the arrows and delete /backspace, etc. keys take you the length of a 15” and then you have the number and the number pad portion which sticks out another 2.5” or there about. So when planning your space- make sure you account for that longer length then your typical keyboard.

Okay, first off... I'm glad that Apple finally released this in Space Gray. No idea why it's more expensive than the silver one, but I love it. Great typing feel, thin form factor, and great battery life (rechargable by included lightening cable). The numeric key pad is another big benefit. Use it often. Only thing I wish it had was the fingerprint sensor that my Macbook does, but that's a small thing.

This is a replacement for similar keyboard but without the 10 keypad. I found this fairly easy to get up to the same speed as I could with my other one. Don't know why the key spacing is a very tiny bit different. And I LOVE having the numeric keypad, so much easier than using my I Phone. Feels good to have a new clean keyboard.

This is the best keyboard for my MacBook by far. I used a third party keyboard for a couple of years, and the Apple keyboard is lighter and has a better touch and functionality.

The keyboard is great, has an amazing battery life and superior quality compared to similar to keyboards from other brands. However, one should not expect to get the feeling of the keyboard of a MacBook Air or pro. Also, the keyboard is not very ergonomic (lacks a bit of a height in my opinion), but other than that, if you're an apple user, you definitely need this.

I had an older Apple wireless keyboard that would chew up batteries. This full keyboard is a great upgrade. The battery life is phenomenal and the charging cord can charge either my iPhone or my new keyboard. The keyboard was seamless to connect to my laptop.

My wrists and fingers are not long enough to use the laptop keyboard of the MacBookPro. I lasted about 3 days using it before deciding to buy the Apple keyboard as i wanted to have the Apple keys available to me without having to program a keyboard to function like an Apple keyboard. Was totally worth the extra dollars to have the number pad on the side. The charge lasts a long time and the set up was minimal. Worth every penny. t does lay a little flat so i put 2 Scotch brand bumpers (like you would put on a cabinet door) on the back to elevate it slightly.
