This is a great keyboard, and the extended layout offers so much! Coming from the Apple Wireless Keyboard, this thing is so much nicer. The rechargeable battery via included Lightning cable is so much more convenient, the numpad is very useful for typing a lot of numbers (primarily for data entry on spreadsheets, in my experience), and there are a ton of large function keys for setting up personalized shortcuts in macOS. I definitely do recommend this keyboard, but it is very expensive and adding $20 to the price for a darker color is ridiculous. (Although it is absolutely gorgeous, way more so than the regular silver one) The Space Gray Magic accessories look really nice with a Space Gray computer — I got the trackpad and keyboard for use with my new Space Gray MacBook Pro and they all look amazing together… of course working is more important, but they do work extremely well and I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice keyboard. Having the numeric keys on a keyboard is very helpful. Wish apple would include a numeric keyboard when you purchase a desktop computer.

Since it's longer than the keyboard without the numeric keypad, it takes a bit of getting used to, especially for touch typing, and where the mouse it placed. But it works well and having the numeric keypad conveniently close to hand speeds up entering data in excel spreadsheets, Quicken, etc.

Like the slim look. Easy to use and works great with my laptop.

Was trying to decide between this and the Logitech MX keys. After holding them in the store I went with this one for the size and build quality. Logitech was a lot bulkier and plastic. The keys feel great and there is no input lag. Only downside is this keyboard is not backlit, otherwise it’s perfect.

I love this keyboard with the numerical pad and holds a charge for a good amount of time.

Picked up a Mac and wanted a true Apple Keyboard. Before, I was using a mini Anker Mac keyboard. Its decent for the price compared to other keyboards. Quality of course is always great from Apple. Keys are silent, ergo is suitable to standard keyboards, and it's easy to charge with a typical lightning cable.

It's a wireless keyboard that is sleek and functions better than the previous keyboard we had. I especially like that it has the numbers on the side; makes it easier to type numbers in. I'm all about ease and simplicity, and this keyboard delivers in those regards.

I bought this to pair with my MacBook Pro for college and it has worked perfectly. It was super easy to set up and I have no problems with it. The battery on it is amazing as well. I have had it now for over a month and use it everyday, and still haven’t had to charge it! I love the super sleek look and the fact that oily fingerprints never show!

This keyboard is bigger and I like the numerals on the side. Very lightweight

I am an apple guy 100% and have been using wired apple keyboard for every Mac I have owned back to my iBook g4, because I do a lot of number crunching and needed a numbed I went wired. I use a docked MacBook Pro as my main computer for last 7 years and hated have to make sure cord was out of the way before I docked on my old landing zone, or now not setting MacBook on it. I was a little late to the party to get one of these, but man I am glad I did now. Battery last forever for me and I use it 40+ hours a week and it has the numbed I long for, plus I love the space great because of the black keys, since with the white ones and the oil from your hands you have to clean more often IMO. Mind you I wish there was no space grey "tax" on the price, do not really get how different color makes price go up.

I purchased this keyboard to pair with my Apple MacBook Pro 15" laptop computer. The keyboard allows me to connect the laptop to a large monitor and work productively in a desktop-like setup. I really like how the keyboard is charged via lightening-port that is standard on Apple products. This is a significant improvement over previous generations of the Apple keyboard that required AA batteries to operate.

I had been using a wimdow keyboard with my mac mini. I have wanted to het the apple keyboard, finally did. Cant go wrong with Apple products. Very easy to type on this keyboard.
