Most Uncomfortable Keyboard I've ever owned

This keyboard is awful. It's not ergonomic, has no way to adjust the height, and it uses the stupid lightning cable from the iPhone 8 instead of USB-C. Why can't there be more than 1 manufacturer of Bluetooth keyboards for Apple computers? Apple doesn't know how to make a keyboard. This is yet another reason to buy a Windows machine because you can at least buy a Bluetooth keyboard that won't need an adapter and dongle connected for it to work. I'm planning on returning this ASAP

Nothing wrong with this item, but I returned it and got the Logitech MX for Mac..way more value for your money. It's angled (which I prefer) It's BACKLIT! It's $50 cheaper No you do NOT need to use the little USB dongle it connects via bluetooth to your mac. Also I LOVE the keys on the Logi!

I purchased my new MacBook Pro 16" as a replacement for my 2009 27' iMac (it sure had a good run!). I also connected my new laptop to an external monitor. It had the feel of having my desktop back; however, I didn't like the external monitor sitting back and my laptop closer to me so I could use the keyboard to type. So, I purchased an Apple Magic Mouse and this keyboard. I'm so glad that I made the purchase. This keyboard is light, super stylish to match my MacBook Pro, comfortable to use, has great key response, and the battery lasts for months! It connected easily and quickly. Now I use this for home and business use. I really enjoy this keyboard and I'm so happy I purchased it. The only drawback to this keyboard is the price. Whew! But I paid it so I could have the "matching look" and the dependability of easy connecting via bluetooth. Plus I really like the feel and comfort of the Apple keyboard. So, when I do use my laptop keyboard, it's laid out similarly and has the same feel and key spacing. Would I buy it again? Yes.

    Apple Full Size Magic Keyboard

I’ve been using the Apple full-size Magic Keyboard for years, and this is actually my second one. My first keyboard has lasted for years and still works perfectly, but I purchased another one specifically for my new office setup. The build quality is excellent, the keys are smooth and responsive, and it’s very comfortable for long typing sessions. Battery life is impressive, and the seamless connection with Apple devices makes it effortless to use. This keyboard truly stands the test of time. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality keyboard, the Apple Magic Keyboard is an easy recommendation.

Such a good keyboard. There is backlighting but I don't really use it. You can turn it off easily. It connects easily to my computer via USB-C. Main things: it has a separate numeric keyboard that I use a lot, the keys are contoured, low-profile and quiet. A great keyboard! Highly recommended.

I couldn't see well the keys, not enough contrast.

I thought the magic keyboard with the numeric keypad looked clean and matched well my new iMac. But...unfortunately the contrast between the grey letter names of the keys and the light grey color of the plastic on which it was printed was too similar to see in a semi-dark situation, which made it necessary for me to turn on an overhead light or figure out how to turn on backlit keys. But nope, that was not an option. I did like that it was wireless and worked well over the bluetooth connection, but alas, I did not want to have to worry about the battery level and recharging it, and didn't like using my bright overhead light to see the keyboard, so I returned it and purchased a wired keyboard that has a backlit option, and which also had a few other features for less than 1/3 the price!

The Magic Keyboard (Full Size) with Numeric Keypad is a top-tier keyboard for Mac users who need both functionality and style. The extended layout is especially useful for anyone who does a lot of data entry, spreadsheet work, or coding. Typing feels smooth and precise, thanks to Apple’s signature low-profile scissor mechanism.

Typing on this keyboard is a joy. The key travel is just right—it provides a satisfying click without being overly noisy. I often find myself typing for hours at a time, and I appreciate how comfortable it feels. My fingers don’t tire as quickly as they did on my previous keyboard, which is a huge plus for me.

Great keyboard. Very good layout. Comfortable. Quiet. Easy to use and setup. Love the fingerprint scanner. I wish had backlit keys but for some reason Apple refuses to make one. Battery life is great. Love it

I am not sure why the black keyboard is more expensive than the silver/grey so that was a bit of a downside for me. Also the keyboard is very flat on the table and doesn't add any extenders to raise the keyboard up. The keys are a little noisy compared to my Macbook Pro. However, I like the sleek design and it doesn't take up a lot of space. The charge lasts a very long time as well. Don't expect having to charge it weekly.

I was using the USB version of this keyboard. Now I use this one. It just happened, I don't question it. The keys have a nice matte finish and feel to them and are slightly concave, so fingers sort of just end up in the right spot. Also, the F and J key lumps are voluptuous and obvious for simpler finding while your magic fingers spell awesome words of wit and sagacity. It works while charging, unlike mouse. Mouse has charge port in stupid place. Sure it doesn't have USB ports. Sure it doesn't have backlighting (really that would be nice though, Apple. Not RGB, just white would be ok. RGB would be ok too. Ooh and it could be a mood detector or change color when you're about to type something stupid). It's simple as it is functional. Have a nice day. This review is brought to you by C2H5OH. I don't know if this was stupid because my keyboard doesn't light up.
