This power adapter works just as it should for my late 2008 aluminum model MacBook. The main reason it gets 4 stars is because there are moments when the cord does not charge my laptop when flipped at the charging port. However, I think this is more of an issue with my laptop than the charger. Overall, it's good.

I was helped by 2 excellent employees that when they heard I was on vacation were able to get me a cord for my lap top, they plugged in my laptop with it to make sure it would work for me and that my issue wasn't the laptop itself. They made my vacation stress free by getting me back on line.

works great, better than the one I bought before and does not connect most of the time. I would recommend anyone who is replacing their old charger to purchase one from Best Buy.

Satisfies everything you need from a charger. The cord management isn't terrific, there are cheap attachments that can improve the cord management.

First one they sold me didn't fit. This one is working as intended.

Fast delivery, box came like brand new. Cord works fine and is in excellent condition.

You get what you pay for so I am willing to pay for the compatible apple accessory.

My daughter's college computer stopped charging. Before paying for it to be looked at, I wanted to try replacing the charger. Best investment of time and money. Best Buy employee very helpful as I didin't know I had to buy a special plug that didn't come with the charger.

It is definitely pricey, but it works great. And the pricey problem isn't a best buy problem, it's an apple problem. I am very satisfied with the product and with the service I received at Best Buy.

I only bought this power adapter because we've already had to go through 2 other power adapters for my fiance's mac book air. The first one just stopped working after about 6 months. The second lasted about 3 years and then the end that connects to the mac book air just started splitting apart. So now we're on our third and hopefully final adapter. Here's hoping for the best.

Durable. Generic do not last like the apple brand.

Works as expected, and bought as a replacement. The older one stopped charging effectively because the wire became frayed after continued “wrapping up” of the smaller cord.
