This power cable not only powers my MacBook, but it powers my life. I can feel the power coursing through the copper from the wall outlet to the computer. It's pretty incredible....thank you Ben Franklin for inventing electricity so I could purchase this amazing power cable.

The old power supply stopped working due to the wires coming undone inside the cord from years of wrapping it up and taking it with us. There is no way to replace only the cord (like you can with a phone) so you have to buy a complete new unit. When shopping for these, make sure you know exactly which power level (Watts) you need as there are several.

I bought this because I needed a second charger for the office. If you don't put a lot of wear & tear on these power cords they should last a long time. On the other hand, they are a really pricey accessory & I resisted buying a 2nd cord for the sake of convenience because it p*ssed me off that Apple feels the need to charge the "premium" price for every little thing they make.

This plug set works fine and meets the needs for my daughter's Mac.

Works great does it's purpose...only problem is that you wrap the wire for transport the wire structure gets really flimsy and starts to breaks....i have only had it for a month and it's already ripping a little...besides that I would always buy this version then a knockoff on amazon because apple has really great customer service and they will give you a new one. (plus side!)

No worse feeling than having your current laptop charger not working right before a big project. Luckily, Best Buy had this in stock, and I was able to get the job done. Wish the price was better, but performance and reliability was what I needed, and this works perfectly.

As always, the sales associate brought me right to what I needed. And, of course because You can't operate your laptop without it, I bought it. The best part about it is that I was upgraded to an elite member and it goes towards my points x3! Very happy about the lifeline and the extra points.

It's an original Apple power cord. If yours was lost or damaged, you can't go wrong. It's exactly like the original, because it's an original. Not cheap but it's Apple. What do you expect

My husband left his cord behind at a hotel, and needed a new one in a hurry. Although my local store is small, and the laptop a slightly older model, my store had the item in stock. The salespeople were so helpful and assured me that it was the proper cord.

I bought a knockoff charger for $35.00. Within two weeks it no longer worked. I did get my money back from the company. Regardless, do not get yourself in the dilemma over money. Just pay for the Apple product and you will be dollars ahead. One complaint and that is that these chargers do not last that long given how the cord bends. But what other choice is there?

Like any apple computer charger made now. Needed a new one bc my cat chewed through the one I bought the end of last year. Not sure what the material is but apple cords are the only things he loves to chew on. Only real compliant is that it is bulky and hard to travel with. A retracktable cord would be more practical for a laptop user on the go. Other than that, it serves its purpose.

Had to buy to replace my original one. This one actually charges it faster.

Bought this to replace the original adapter for Mac from 2011 since the cord wore out. This works great, the design is a little different from the original one but works the same by connecting magnetically and the cord thickness is also the same. Works as needed.

Great adapter. Gets hot every now and then, but other than that its great.
