I bought this as a replacement after my wife misplaced her cord. I was taken aback by the price and had to buy an adapter for her mac-book air. I wish the documentation on the box stated what products it worked with. There was another box with a similar product with a different adaptor, but IU was not sure which one worked with my wifes macbook.

Less than 6 months ago, tried to save money, bought a knock off generic brand charger for my son's Mac Computer - while my son was sitting in class charging his computer, the generic brand charger starting smoking! No damage to his Mac - but will not ever again buy generic or knock off brands. Not worth it in the long run!

works good, my previous cord crapped out on me, I believe this one has more watts than what i had with the charger that came with my Macbook so it does charge slightly faster in my opinion.

This is the third power adapter I've had to purchase for my mac. They work fine, but don't last long - the cord is prone to fraying if you don't take really good care of it. However it's really the only option you have if you need a cord. Just a warning, treat it with care and you'll get at least a year or two out of it.

Bought as a replacement for my failing charger. It works as expected and all charges fully and normally again. Not much to comment on as it is the OEM charger supplied with the 13 MBP and no other alternatives exists due to Apple's MagSafe connector.

This is my 3rd replacement charger. It does the job but I do wish Apple would build their chargers a little more travel friendly. Its too easy to damage the thin cord near the square box when you are having to constantly pack it up and take it with you.

Great item. Charger is authentic and works great. The price here matches Amazon and I was able to pick up same day as my charger died and I needed something quick. Great purchase.

Its made by Apple, therefore theres nothing more to say. stay away from off brands even though they may be half the cost. You get what you pay for.

My old charger had torn from the power block and was in need of a new one. Luckily Best Buy had my back and I purchased one from them. Packaging was great and the product was brand new. Excellent experience.

Purchased this item and picked it up in the store. Went to the end of the support area and plugged it in and tested it to make sure it worked. The staff was VERY helpful.

There are cheaper non-Apple versions of this, but I chose to pay a little more and feel more secure to use on an older Mac. Just make sure you are getting the right version (Click on "About this Mac" under the Apple menu.)

My charger went kaput so I needed to get a new one. My computer is a "vintage" computer, I bought it in 2010. I was surprised I could still buy the charger despite the fact Apple change it in the more recent MacBook computers

Just the thing I needed to replace my old broken charger.

Works great for a few years, then breaks or functionality slows down. The only issue I have with this charger, like all Apple chargers is that the cable splits open and frays, so you’re forced to replace it.
