thank goodness for replacement parts. Original cord pulled apart; just visited my local Best Buy and they had one on the shelf. My portable is working perfectly again.

They work for a while and then they don't work any longer and you have to replace them so you have to spend a lot of money just to buy these proprietary chargers that break after a short period of time

It's apple so you won't go wrong, the first replacement I bought from bestbuy recommended website wasn't apple brand and didn't work when I tried it

My power cords always end up bending and breaking. This is the second one I've bought. I've had to put tape on the end of it (connecting to the laptop) to keep it from breaking like the first one. Other than that, works great.
