    Well, I have had the same macbook for TEN YEARS and I have had to replace the charger more times than I would like to admit. I've tried the cheap knock offs and they mess up functions wouldn't even expect a charger to mess up. so i always end up having to buy the real deal and they are so expensive considering their life span. Its one of those situations when you are kind of stuck with only one option, at least in my experience. Capitalism baby!

    My mackbook charger finally broke after 6 years and it's hard to find the old style. This was exactly what I wanted and it was the best price.

    My son ruined my original MacBook charger. Out of necessity I purchased a new one. They were easy to find and quickly was able to charge my laptop again.

    Had to replace the charger for a MacBook from 2011. Now that I have this brand new charger I have no more power issues on my MacBook.

    Only reliable replacement for our Macbook. We tried a knockoff and it died within a few weeks. This cord works perfectly as expected for an Apple product.

    Yes, this is an apple power supply and in only recommend genuine apple power supply. There are others that does not work according to Apple's specs.
