    I bought this an open item. The charge is fast and comes with a cord extender. A little pricy. But thats apple for you.

    Best Buy had the charger in stock for our 7 year old Macbook, so I had to get it as my battery is almost shot

    It works! The boy told me if it did not work, I could bring it back and get the other one. But, it worked. Which was nice.

    Works perfect with my mid 2009 Macbook Pro 13". The newer narrow port is different but getting used to from the smaller square port.
