I've had my macbook since 2010, and it works like a gem. The power cord went out a few months ago, and was having issues for about a year and a half before finally quitting on me. They're relatively resilient, and I love the magnetic plug feature. I don't have to worry about the plug bending or being off center because as long as I get the plug close, it basically plugs itself in. :) It also has the open close hooks for the cord while it's in used or for storage. And the wall part of the plug also flips down so that when it's not in use it isn't hanging out to be bent or twisted as other plugs seem to do. I love the design of the removable plug as well. It snaps into place so when you remove it to add the extension, it's not going to unplug at the slightest tug as normal plugs to. It's pretty user friendly, offering all the conveniences you could ask from a charger. Apple products may be expensive, I cringe when I have to pay for them, but I've had my macbook and ipod for years and they are still as good as the day I got them. Even the cord lasted 4 years without too much fuss, which is more than I can say for the other tech products we have in our household.

I was really disappointed when Apple went away from the MagSafe in their newer Macbook Pros - it really is an amazing invention. Very easy to connect, and you don't have to worry about knocking your Mac off the table. I got this one for my 13" MacBook Pro Mid-2010 .

I tried buying a cheap version on Amazon from China and it got so hot and would short out other plugs on my laptop! You paid a small fortune for the computer, you might as well pay a little extra to replace the charger properly. Definitely worth a buy if you accidentally let your puppy destroy your original charger like I did.

I've been through 2 other chargers that claimed to work with MacBooks only to buy another in 6months. This is an authentic charger produced by Apple so the quality is the best. Fully charges my MacBook regularly without any glitches or shutdowns. It's the most expensive, but definitely worth it.

Reviewing this is kind of like reviewing gasoline or something like that. You need this thing to make your macbook work. And this certainly does the trick. I highly recommend if you enjoy charging your 13 inch macbook!

This charger is absolutely awesome, a genuine brand that ofter the perfect fit. Its made of high quality material in white color and a comes with a second adapter that extends the cord. This product is efficient and im completely satified.

This charger works perfectly with my MacBook pro. As good, if not better than the one that came with it. Beware, there are a few chargers that look the same but the connector is different. Make sure you blow up the pic when shopping online and compare to your MacBook charger

Stay cool compared to my PC laptop power supplies. Will last forever as a home charger. Last one didn't par off as a road warrior. I just use a cheap generic for the road. Trust this one to walk away and leave it for a day or two without worrying it burn down the house or scorch the carpet.

This charger was purchased to replace the original one that came with my macbook. Charges quickly and is nice that the cable is very long which makes it convenient to move around while it's charging. I would recommend this charger to all. It's great to be able to get an apple brand charger instead of having to settle for a different one. This is a good buy.

Always buy the Apple brand when replacing an Apple accessory. My original magsafe charger for my Macbook Pro finally kicked the bucket and I thought I could save a few bucks by purchasing an off-brand charger; but this just turned out to be a major headache. The off-brand charger lasted about two weeks and then overheated. It turns out this is a common problem with the off-brand chargers, and I was fortunate enough not to have killed my battery in the process, which was the case for many after I went back and read some reviews. After this experience, I bit the bullet and purchased the Apple-brand charger. It works great, and does not heat up. While I did receive a refund from the company that sold me the defective charger, I would recommend spending the extra money upfront and just get the Apple brand accessories. In the end it will save you time and money.

I wish the design was a bit better for overall structural purposes, but it’s a great charger. I’ve gone through 2 others in the 8 years that I’ve owned this laptop, but a 3rd party replacement only lasted 5 months. I’ll only buy Apple ones from now on.

Unfortunately, the powers cables are not invincible because they are not the cheapest things in the world, but they are made very well nonetheless, and this is a perfect match.

It works excellent as expected. No issues with the charges. So far I have used in 60Hz and 50hz countries with 120v and 240v

The only reason why i bought another one is because i lost my first one. This thing charges fast and is very durable because of the magnetic charge instead of other chargers from microsoft. Definately worth the money!

An overall good backup and replacement charger, does overheat sometimes but mainly when charging laptop as well for long periods.

This is the perfect replacement for a worn out MacBook Power Adapter. Don't waste money on a non-Apple product as you'll most likely end up ruining your computer. The extra cost is definitely worth it in the long-run.

Easy to use. Made nice and overall a good product. I wish they made them child proof. My kids tear right through them. My dad and I still have the original one that came with are computers , but my kids go through about one a year.
