It breaks where it connects to the adapter. The other negative is that the cord is too short. If you are trying to use the product while it is plugged in you have to have it right on top of you. It would be much better if the cord were much longer and much thicker

Disappointed in Apple

The new replacement wire seems cheaper than the one that came with my computer. I can see this wire lasting less than the original. In the strive for a green economy it does seem such a waste to pay and throw away. I would like Apple to address this issue in their power cords.
