The product is either an after-market or refurbished but it lasted no time.

This is a charger. If you need it, it works, Not much else to add.

The product did not stand up to once a week use. For the price it should be much higher quality and frankly much lower price. Apple is suppose to be a higher quality product but it will be the next Black Berry you can bet on that

for an apple product I was disappointed in the time it lasted worked.

I have had to buy 3 of these for my MacBook. They last about a year and then fall apart

as usual you have to over pay for an apple product, but what else are you supposed to do, its expected (by me anyways) when you purchase an apple product. i bought for an Christmas present my daughter was out of town when I purchased and when she opened it (a week ago) the cord was BROKE!!!! and its been to long to return. NOW WHAT DO I DO?????

The problem it’s not with the part that I bought, it’s with Apple itself. This is the 3rd one that I have had to buy, it would be easier if you could just buy the part that connects to the computer instead of the overall thing. The part itself does its job so not really much to say about it.

I got the cord to replace the original that was frayed, but worked. Now I have a blown motherboard. As soon as it was plugged in, the sparks flew. It was an open box product, marked as not defective and not missing parts. Needless to say, I am disappointed in the product.

Simple charging cable. Works as advertised. Just like most apple products it is over priced.

$80 for a power chord? I have gone through 5 in the two years I've had my laptop.

Apple makes great products but the quality of this charging cable is very poor. I have purchased 3 of these charging cables and they have all detached from the same part. I am thinking of selling my MacBook to get out of this nightmare.

They work fine but not as well as the ones for the newer Macs. My cats seems to be attracted to this one and chews through them easily. I've had to replace it like 5 times now. My son has a newer mac with a thicker cord and the cats have never messed with theirs.

I'm sure the product is fine. The problem is the Best Buy sales associate swore this was the adaptor I neede for my new MacBook Air, bout when I got home with it, it didn't fit. I then read the fine print on the box that said it is NOT for the Air. Shame on me for believing the sales associate instead of reading the box myself.

These chargers are poorly made and require a repurchase at least once a year.

The cord works great but the cost of the cord is priced way too much.

Not sure why Apple prices these chargers so high, because they are not built to last. After I got a short in my first charger, I've tried to handle them with care. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm...

Great product for a 7 yr old MacBook but way over priced

I've had good luck with Macbook, but this is my 3rd power cord in 5 years.

apple needs to make a better charger. but it is doing the job so far.
