I normally buy third party chargers for my MacBook but after getting tired of buying chargers after charger. This charger gets the job done! Charges fast it's portable and doesn't rip easily.

Without question, this package is the best bang for your buck! Charges fast, is super durable, and still remains easy enough to travel with.

I have tried getting other chargers for about $25 through amazon which are aftermarket but there is nothing like getting an actual apple charger. They last forever and do not over heat.

I saw a lot of comments online of people complaining about it not lasting long. If you take care of your chargers, it'll last several years. I used to throw my old one into a backpack crammed with stuff and it still lasted 3 years before the wire near the brick part started to mess up. The charger does its job and is 100% authentic. I say that because Amazon has a charger for half the price but a lot of people are saying that you're not getting the real thing. I got mine from Best Buy when it was marked down a bit. I didn't mind paying more since I wanted a real apple charger that wouldn't burn my house down like the fake ones.

The product is easy to use and vey affective in its use. It charges my Mac quickly and gives it a long lasting charge. The adapter was a little pricy but in the end was a good investment .

This charger will recharge your laptop very quickly but I hate the bulky design of it. But perhaps it has to be bulky to get the quick charge? Not sure, but Apples products usually are esthetically pleasing as well as useful.

This charger works as it should. I've bought a few "knock-offs" and they always work for a little while, then die. Never again. But...it really should cost this much for a charger. But, definite shout out to Best Buy CS! I ordered an open box, but they ended up not having it in stock, so they gave me a new one for free (I mean for the price I paid for the open box one); which was amazing. They came right to my car and socially distanced. Great experience by Best Buy.

Forgot my charger and needed a replacement! This is the only one I use now and glad I bought it. Works better than the original and doesn't get nearly as hot.

Purchased this as a replacement to my last charging cord, which lasted 5 years. They are very durable and can charge very quickly. However, with it being durable comes with an awkward way to transport/carry.

My laptop was outdated and I never thought id get a compatible charger untill I found this one. It works well for my Mac book air. Charges within one hour to full. Never gets hot and safe at all environments

These things are ridiculously expensive. I have a two and a half year old lap top and I am on my 3rd power adapter now. They just aren't very durable. Another annoying thing about them is that the small cord rarely stays wrapped around the little fold out arms. The best things about them are: 1) they are fairly small and lightweight and 2) The MagSafe feature has definitely kept my laptop from being pulled off the table when the cord is tripped on. I haven't tried an off-brand for this model power adapter, but I did when I had the older model, and it had an even shorter life span than the Apple brand adapter. I've stuck with the Apple brand as the adapter for this laptop because the Apple ones are available in most electronics stores and the off-brands usually have to be ordered, which is inconvenient when your laptop is about to die. There is never a convenient time for them to break and often they break suddenly without any warning. If you need to buy a new one, you need to, it's just one of those things that you have to spend money on even if you feel like it's a waste. I guess I would recommend it because it's better than not being able to charge your laptop.

This power adapter was exactly what I was looking for. My old one was not charging my MacBook and this has done the trick. It is easy to use and the price is right.

I put off buying a replacement for my tattered cord way too long because of the cost. I had become so used to my previous power adaptor taking hours to recharge my MacBook that this new power adaptor amazes me! Plus, the Best Buy employees who assisted me tested my "old" power adaptor and said it was inefficient and unable to provide the power I needed. I am a technical writer and copywriter who downloads and edits magazines, technical reports, books and other professional documents. The trusty little power adapter that came along with my 2010 MacBook Pro 13" finally gave up after 3 years. So was looking for a replacement. I could have easily purchased a non-branded one from amazon for much cheaper or bought used from eBay but I needed a replacement right away. Ended up buying this Apple-branded one in a hurry and even though it was on the expensive side, I was happy to see the same rock-solid quality as the original that came with my laptop. Atleast I don't have to worry about this being of inferior quality and shorting in the middle of the night and burning down the house.

Good product. Reliable. Doesn’t overheat. Extra cord makes it safe.

It charges the MAC well and does not get hot. The cord is long enough so it can reach a good distance.

This power adapter works great, unlike some of the off market ones it changes fast and it’s quite durable. It’s worth the price.
