I couldn't go anywhere else and purchase this product unless I went to Apple and I saved over $25 at Best Buy. This product at the Apple store is very expensive and it is a "must-have" product when I'm in a pickle for my Apple laptop MacBook pro to be charged. I'm very careful to protect this products wires as it is easily ruined buy my roller office chair. thank you Best Buy for being there when I needed you when the Apple store was closed!

Wouldn't need to replace these so often if they made the insulation a little thicker. If they did that it just wouldn't have the Apple look so they won't do it. Because it's so thin and the current is so high when charging, the insulation starts to char a bit. May still be ok, but in the eyes of a layman (like my daughter) it looks like it's about to catch fire so I have to replace them periodically just for the sense of safety. Works fine as expected (for now, until it turns brown and I have to replace it).

My Power Adapter for MacBook Pro has held up better than my phone chargers.

This is the official adapter for the MacBook that I use, it's very pricey (like all Apple's items) but it's worth it compared to buying a knockoff somewhere online that won't last.

Was in a bind and needed an apple cord that day, order it online and went to pick up in an hour. Good quality and fast processing.

This product is fantastic, it charges fast and is constructed well. I like the fact that the power point breaks away magnetically and is so safe.

This power adaptor is identical to the original one that comes with the MacBook. Glad Best Buy has them in stock, what a lifesaver when I needed it.

Works just as it should, but these power cords don’t last long. This is my 3 power cable for my Mac. The metal is very soft where it connects to the laptop. Poor design by Apple.

My original computer chord broke and this was a quick way to replace it, knowing it is exactly what I needed and it would work accurately.

Look, this is Apple's fault not Best Buy's. This product just has a bad design. The cable is coated in rubber and while it looks really nice I just can't give it 5 stars because of the issues you are bound to run into with one of these chargers. Ever owned an iPhone charger? Same thing. This WILL break eventually. Maybe after 5 years like me (but I took really good care of it - not to mention it was wrapped in electrical tape working on it's last leg the past year.) Or maybe it will break sooner if you aren't careful. Whatever the case is, this is your only option for a charger for your Mac. Don't buy third party or used or a knockoff because then you risk damaging your computer.

It's worth the money cause some knock of chargers can mess up you computer so it's better to invest in the right charger cord
