This power adapter was exactly what I was looking for. My old one was not charging my MacBook and this has done the trick. It is easy to use and the price is right.

This power adapter works great, unlike some of the off market ones it changes fast and it’s quite durable. It’s worth the price.

I put off buying a replacement for my tattered cord way too long because of the cost. I had become so used to my previous power adaptor taking hours to recharge my MacBook that this new power adaptor amazes me! Plus, the Best Buy employees who assisted me tested my "old" power adaptor and said it was inefficient and unable to provide the power I needed. I am a technical writer and copywriter who downloads and edits magazines, technical reports, books and other professional documents. The trusty little power adapter that came along with my 2010 MacBook Pro 13" finally gave up after 3 years. So was looking for a replacement. I could have easily purchased a non-branded one from amazon for much cheaper or bought used from eBay but I needed a replacement right away. Ended up buying this Apple-branded one in a hurry and even though it was on the expensive side, I was happy to see the same rock-solid quality as the original that came with my laptop. Atleast I don't have to worry about this being of inferior quality and shorting in the middle of the night and burning down the house.

I am gladly to be happy with the way; which close to my located home in sunset street down to Sherwood, therefore, I don’t want to buy a technically cheap battery charger that I have an apple equipment; laptop is MacBook Air. Besides that, I am very disappointed in my pet cat Lucille bit it, and that is why I had to take a damage wire to repair it, that’s how I feel blessed in the moment!

Seems to work. Bought to finally replace my original cord from my late 2011 MacBook Pro. Honestly even that one still works but I just got tired of the green that was around the cord. So I guess be careful how you hold it.. The oils from our fingers seem to be what causes that. Although I just grab the area that goes straight to the MacBook Pro anyway..

It works great. But you want to make sure that you are getting the write one of you Macbook. Great products works like it came from apple.

I had made the mistake of buying knock off brands of adapters for my MacBook Pro laptop because they were much cheaper. However, they never lasted more than 2-6 months! Upon doing some research I found it was advised not to buy anything other than the official Apple adapter. So, upon purchasing the Apple adapter from Best Buy I was happy to find that an extra cord and plug were included.....and the curb side service was great!

Works as expected. My original one lasted for more than 3 years with extensive usage so I decided to buy the OEM replacement as there wasn't a third party replacement with comparable reviews.

Love the long cord. It is the same as the original cord that came with the laptop.

This charger is a great replacement if your current one is no longer able to charge your macbook. The new charger works perfectly and I do not have to worry about its reliability. The charger works the same way as the charger that came with the macbook, but be cautious that this is specifically for a 13'' Macbook Pro. The price is a pretty high but seeing that my original charger lasted about 3 years it is nothing to complain about.

I've tried other chargers and have found that the only ones that work well and last are the Apple laptop chargers, not the knock-offs.

As with any Apple device, my MacBook has outlived it's charger. At first I opted for a $20 knockoff charger, but it stopped working after only 2 months of limited use. Finally I decided to take the plunge and invest in this charger, and I have to say it was worth it. Although overpriced, the quality of the charger is unparalleled - do yourself a favor and purchase this charger and don't dwell on the cost.

I was given a credit for the charger that didn't fit my laptop, than I went to the back to where the chargers were, one guy didn't think he had one that fit, but went the extra mile to find someone that did. After making the purchase, they allowed me to open it right there in the store and try it in my computer to make sure it fit.

My cats have love to chew on Apple power cords. I get complacent and forget to cover the cord and am once again in the market for an expensive Apple power cord. This is my 3rd or 4th replacement. Checked out Amazon first but reviews led me to believe a lot of the "genuine" cords were actually genuine knock-offs. Wanted to make sure I got something that wouldn't damage my computer. Have been very satisfied with this cord. Hopefully it will be the last one I need to buy but that's on me, not the manufacturer.

I love these Apple Mac power blocks, The magnetic plugs are break-away, no mashed screens if you trip over them.

The power adapter charges very quickly and it is protected because of the magnetic DC connector.
