Replacing a frayed power adapter

Happy with my new 60W Power Adaptor for Macbook

I bought a replacement that was readily available at my local Best Buy Store. Although I am happy with the product, I wish that they had updated the design and made a version with a cable that can detach so that if it fails again, I could simply purchase the cable. The Old adapter works fine; it is just the cable that failed. I would recommend the product but would appreciate it if Apple got out a newer version with a detachable cable.

I needed the MacBook Pro power cord

My former cord was damaged when I fell asleep in bed. The cord worked for a week or so. Replacement cord became necessary. Actually, I'd prefer having/using only the cord I need. I do not use the power adapter. I now have two (2) that I have never use. Please consider the expense for something I do not use. Thank you - Jock Baine
