just what I needed works perfectly! the geek squad staff was so nice and assisted me with testing it out with my computer to make sure it worked before I left! I couldn't be more satisfied!

These chargers are great and don't buy the cheaper ones off amazon cause they get real hot and they will prob burn your house down. If you don't wrap up your cord then it will last a long time. If anything I would buy a little piece of Velcro and just wrap the cord loosely around your hand cause if you wrap it, the cord will eventually rip right at the wall plug and it's hard to fix.

The knockoff would get so hot I worried over a fire. This works great and love the extended cord options

Much sturdier than the aftermarket versions. The cord is more substantial, so I expect it to last longer.

And a very expensive one at that! Ouch Apple.. But it works, as a power cable should. Just a heads up. If you go into a store, know what you need before you go in. I wouldn't trust the Apple sales people in there. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he handed me the wrong one. Good thing I knew what I was doing. Some people wouldn't know the difference between a 60W and an 80W, and would trust the sales person to give them the right one.

My original adapter when I bought my MacBook was just not working anymore after so many years. Just wore out and old. I bought something seminar adapter,a cheaper version. But it brook again after only a few months. So here I am finally bought this apple mega safe 60W adapter. It's over price in my personal opinion. But it's so much better. Still felt better to have this than the cheaper version.

It looks likes it's brand new and works without any issues. I like that it came with an extender

This charger for the early MacBook Pro's all the way up to Early 2011 is great. I love the quick magnetic disconnect, was ahead of the technologic laptop race back in 2008. No more damaged charger ports or bad charger connections due to plug-in power ports. A great feature also is that you can use this charger on NEWER MacBook Pro's with a simple Mag Safe1 to Mag Safe 2 adaptor (Not included with Mag Safe1), canceling the need for a new charger assembly.

This may be an old charger but it lasted me a good 6 years throughout college! I still love that it’s magnetic which helps the attachment more than others and it shows the color green if it’s done charging. I love the extended cord which actually I’m still using the old one, and bought the main cord cause it obviously ripped!! I’m glad that after this long, this old MacBook works like a charm!

The long cord gives versatility of use. Durable. I just find the housing of power connector charger too big.

Bought this for my girl's laptop because after years of wear and tear the charger stopped working. Gave her this product and it charges her laptop perfectly. Will recommend people to buy but just make sure it is compatible with the laptop you own like I did. I just went to Apple's website and put in the model type she owned.

OEM part was exactly what I needed. Exact replica of the original.

My daughter's power adapter had become frayed near the junction to her Mac. Finding the adaptor available at Best Buy was convenient and as it is the same Apple product, I had no doubts it would be compatible. I also had some rewards from my Best Buy card which brought down the price. The Apple store never has sales on these so this was a great perk. It's working great.

I have bought one from Amazon but by feeling the quality would get hot. I knew I had to buy a legit one. basically people always buy the original chargers that come AND that’s needed for the product very from a third party… unless you wanna mess fry your computer you know where I’m getting at.
