Worked only intermittently - so I replaced it with this newer, larger model - and it has been working fine. But Apple products are expensive.

Wish Apple would make these more durable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is what it is - Apple makes them (the charger for the Macbook Pro is what I bought) and where the smaller diameter cord (the one that plugs into the computer) ties into the charger unit there is a it tends to break over time. And it's not cheap! I could buy non-Apple knock-offs but don't want to risk getting something that could harm my laptop. Oh well. It works fine, and I wouldn't recommend that someone get a copy cat charger unless I knew of one that is safe so yes, I guess I'd recommend to a friend but only because the alternative could be worse.
