This OEM equipment, exactly the quality and reliability of the original that came withy Mac Book Pro, and which worked great until my dog thought it made a better chew toy than a power supply. I look forward to many more years of computer use and covetous looks from my Lab who will NOT be getting to play with this one!

Needed a new power cable for my macbook and this was on sale and exactly what I needed. Works perfectly

Our MacBook Pro power adapter was damaged in a move, and I researched for a good price on an Apple brand quality new one. Best Buy offered the best price! I like that it is an Apple product, and I was also able to get free shipping to my home at the time! After nearly a year, the power adapter is working perfectly, including the indicator charging light!

I like the detachable extension cord. That way it is easier to use other countries extension chords adaptable to Mac. The charger is expensive so it would not make sense to buy one for every country you travel in. Another thing is that you get extra length which works great if you are charging the device at the airport

Was a perfect replacement for my apple lap top. Apple products always meet my expectations.

Bought a "knock off" cord new off of craigslist, it was worthless didn't charge properly -didn't last- maybe 3 weeks. It looked just like the Apple one! Now I forked out the money to go with the Apple brand one plus the money i lost buying the one that was garbage off craigslist. I recommend buying the Apple cord. Our original Apple cord damaged by our cat:( but it lasted 3+ years.

Of course it is great. It is that exact spec Apple replacement part. Of course it is ridiculously expensive, but if I spend half and it fails I get nothing. I went for the sure thing because all the cheaper knock offs have failures and run hot. Burn my house down to save 40 bucks? Nope. The key is not to let your younger children chew on the cord so you don't need a new one anyway :-)

My old macbook charger ripped and started to smoke so I was forced to get a new one. I went back and forth on buying the generic over the Apple charger and after reading a bunch of bad reviews on the generic I decided to go ahead and buy the Apple brand. Cost a pretty penny for a charger but it is what it is. It has been working well. No complaints.

This way you not only insure having the longest life your Apple product has to offer but also the best performance it has to offer! This Charger is the perfect wattage, stores easily and charges quickly! Apple for Apple!

Had to replace my MagSafe - it was literally sparking at the joint where the cord casing met the battery joint housing. This was an 'open box' product, but it is perfect. Heavier joints, thicker casing and much better quality than the one I replaced. Very very happy.

This power cord works as expected. Can fully charge our macbook in an hour or so.

Not a very exciting purchase, but a definitely needed one! I love Apple products but think their accessories are poorly designed and break quite easily - at least all chargers for the various products we have had and to replace them is not cheap! That being said, we needed a new charger - don't know that it should have be $75.00 but what are you going to do? Buy a new computer?

So pleased to find exactly what I needed when my daughters macbook charger would not changer her computer - when a lot of college work was due that week. The Best Buy employee was very helpful in showing me I needed the new 'plug in' to work with her computer. That would have been stressful to get home and still need another piece to get it changed.

So nice to have a new one. My old one gave me many years of service being lugged to and fro and plugged in ready to keep my MacBook Pro running. I have seen less expensive 'replacement' off-brand versions; not going to risk it with my expensive Laptop.
